Maybe You Can Relate: The One About Fears Aug 30, 2022
    Show notes

On this episode of Maybe You Can Relate, we're expanding on the question I posed in last month's episode: What would you be able to accomplish if you weren't afraid?

I'd hazard a guess that most of us, at some point, have let fear hold us back.

One of the biggest fears that I have had to conquer, and still do, is the fear of other people's opinions which I'll dive a little deeper into today.

Maybe You Can Relate: The One About Coming Full Circle Jul 19, 2022
    Show notes

On this episode of Maybe You Can Relate I’m speaking about coming full circle. What do I mean by that? Well, in this episode I share about when I first attended a conference and had to put my job title down and I very hesitantly wrote ‘Farmer’ to where I am today and how the experiences I have had both good and not so good have shaped who I am today.

Supporting Your Immune System with food with Chelsie Boles Jul 15, 2022
    Show notes

On this week's episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you'll meet Chelsie Boles.

Chelsie is a first-generation female farmer in Michigan, who's been on a health and healing journey for over 10 years. Her and her husband Rob left a very cozy life to start their own 65-acre regenerative farm from scratch. Rob quit his job in the family business and sold most of his ownership shares to invest in property for the farm dream. Chelsie was a middle school art teacher at the time and continued to teach until her second child of 4 was born, to stay home with them and help grow the business.

They began their journey because of the myriad of health issues Chelsie had, which lead them to the healing power of food. They had a hard time locating the quality meats they wanted back in 2011 and became passionate about sourcing. After discovering the work of Joel Salatin and The Weston A Price Foundation, they couldn't stop thinking about food and farming and decided to jump in. Currently, they raise pastured poultry for meat and eggs and are working towards adding beef and pork to the farm.
