Live from the Giro: Mads-ness, mountains and Monster May 30, 2025
    Show notes

Rachel Jary goes inside the Lidl-Trek team car on a chaotic breakaway day – she discovered Mads Pedersen's favourite fuel, tried to understand the politics of the peloton and there were moments where she feared she may never make it to the stage finish in Bormio.

She also got an insight on the best gastronomy the Trentino region has to offer from some local riders, found out what makes Richard Carapaz a fan favourite and spoke to Sam Bennett about why the sprinters are absolutely dreading the final mountain stages coming up. Spoiler alert: it isn't much fun in the gruppetto.

    Show notes

Rouleur’s Chris Marshall-Bell explores the roads, culture and politics of the first-ever Grande Partenza taking place across the Adriatic Sea in Albania. Chris spent a few days riding through the beautiful rolling roads used in stage one, chatting to locals about all things from bike racing to the cult following of a British comedian, all to find out why 2025 was one of the most unique starts in the Giro d’Italia’s history. From the vibrant liveliness of the capital of Tirana to the peaceful winding mountain roads, from the country’s communist past, its multi-faith present, to the hopes of it being the next cycling holiday destination, Chris delves into the stories behind this fascinating Balkan country.

Rouleur Conversations: Live at the Traka 2025 with Rosa Klöser and Josie Millard May 09, 2025
    Show notes

Live from the 2025 edition of TRAKA, Rouleur writer Rachel Jary speaks to Canyon racers Rosa Klöser and Josie Millard about their journeys in the sport so far. Klöser comes from an academic background and shot to stardom after winning Unbound Gravel last year – she now rides on the road with Canyon//SRAM alongside racing gravel as a privateer. Josie is an ex-professional skateboarder who has switched to bike racing in the past season and she's already taking the gravel world by storm. They discuss how to get more female cyclists in to gravel racing, equality in the sport and why it's important to empower people to give events like the Traka a go.

Live from the Classics: The view from Roubaix velodrome Apr 14, 2025
    Show notes

In the final instalment of Live at the Classics, Rouleur’s Rachel Jary and Chris Marshall-Bell bring you all of the stories from inside the fabled Roubaix velodrome. They heard about mechanicals, wrong turns, saw more bloodied knees and blistered palms than they’d care to remember and Chris even got to ring the famous Roubaix lap bell. This was the view from cycling’s greatest stadium over the Hell of the North weekend.

    Live from the Classics: A fan's guide to Paris-Roubaix Apr 11, 2025
    Show notes

Rouleur's roving reporters Rachel Jary and Chris Marshall-Bell spent a day taking on the brutal but beautiful cobbles of Paris-Roubaix. Along the way, they asked the most important questions: Where are the goats? How many days in advance do you need to arrive to get a good spot in the Arenberg Forest? Can you fit more than five Oreos in the gaps between the cobbles? Is the Hell of the North really as hard as everyone makes out? And most importantly, can Chris beat Rachel in a sprint finish at the Roubaix velodrome? It was a big day out for both riders, but spoiler alert, they didn't take any Strava KOMs...
