Executive Orders, Accountability & Tony Shaffer Apr 10, 2025

Show notes

Rob Carson tackles the latest headlines with his signature mix of humor, opinion, and unfiltered commentary. From newly signed executive orders by Donald Trump to sharp critiques of the media and the political establishment, Rob takes listeners on a ride through the current political landscape.

Highlights:

🇺🇸 Trump's Executive Orders: Rob breaks down Trump’s recent actions, including revoking the security clearances of former officials like Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor, and launching investigations into their alleged misconduct related to the 2020 election.
🧻 Regulations & Ridiculousness: Rants on the absurdity of "green" home regulations, such as low-flow showerheads and composting toilets, and the broader pushback against overregulation.
⚖️ Accountability vs. Retribution: With input from Tulsi Gabbard, the conversation turns to "accountability" for the Russia hoax, January 6 prosecutions, and government overreach—emphasizing justice, not revenge.
📉 Democrat Party Decline: Polls show rising disapproval of Democrats, and Rob attributes it to extreme rhetoric, out-of-touch policies, and controversial figures like Jasmine Crockett.
🧠 Media Deception on Biden: Rob and guest Tom Basile critique the mainstream media’s delayed acknowledgment of President Biden’s cognitive decline, calling it a dangerous cover-up.
🌍 Tariffs & Trump’s Global Win: Praise for Trump’s global economic strategy as 75+ countries align on trade reform, leaving China isolated.
📺 Newsmax Rising: Guest Tom Basile celebrates Newsmax’s skyrocketing success and why viewers are turning to it for truth, connection, and common sense reporting.
🚫 Pronoun Backlash: Rob lambasts the pronoun debate with his characteristic bluntness, calling it symbolic of broader societal confusion and political correctness gone wild.

Featured Guests:

🇺🇸 Tom Basile – Newsmax host, shares insights on media trust, Newsmax’s growth, and global trade realignment under Trump.
🇺🇸 Tony Shaffer - Tony and Rob discuss Mark Zuckerberg and others using social media for domestic surveillance of citizens.
