Friday means landing the plane, but not before setting the cockpit on fire.

On today's episode, the gang starts with weather talk like every respectable group of Midwestern dads before immediately spiraling into forgotten pool hoses, accidental water bills, and whether rain can actually improve your Friday. Moon almost floods the backyard, Mama Moon is back in the pool, and somehow the conversation only gets weirder from there.

Then Riz makes the mistake we've all made—reading the comments.

A simple ponytail somehow transforms him into Steven Seagal... then someone compares him to Big Ed from 90 Day Fiancé, and suddenly years of confidence disappear faster than free donuts in the break room. The crew debates whether internet trolls should ever win, whether Woody's opinion somehow matters more than thousands of listeners, and whether North Korea actually has better hairstyle options than Riz's barber.

As if that isn't enough chaos, a terrifying parasite story sends everyone into an extended discussion about the absolute worst places to discover explosive digestive problems. Yellowstone. Airplanes. Funerals. Float tanks with anti-fart contracts. Nothing is safe, and somehow everyone contributes a nightmare scenario that makes the previous one sound pleasant.

The travel conversation gets even better when Riz prepares for Europe and asks the age-old question: what's harder—vacationing with toddlers or grandparents? The answers involve Paris, catacombs, bad knees, paper-thin skin, confusing public transportation, and enough family travel anxiety to make you want to stay home forever.

Later, the crew realizes they're officially becoming old people. Random grunts while standing up. Talking to themselves in grocery stores. Becoming obsessed with neighbors' lawns. Weather-predicting knees. And perhaps the most disturbing revelation of all… yes, "old person smell" is apparently real, and once the science gets involved, nobody leaves the conversation feeling younger.

There's also celebrity rabbit holes, Rick Springfield somehow refusing to age, Def Leppard debates, bizarre internet searches, listener roasts, travel disasters, body noises, and the kind of completely unnecessary conversations that somehow become the funniest parts of the morning.

It's exactly the unpredictable mess you'd expect from The Rizzuto Show—friends making each other laugh, roasting themselves before the internet gets the chance, and somehow turning everyday stories into absolute nonsense.

If you came for organized radio, you're in the wrong place.

If you came for sarcastic conversations, ridiculous stories, and a daily comedy show that proudly derails itself every few minutes, welcome home.

Thanks for making The Rizzuto Show part of your routine. Whether you're commuting, pretending to work, hiding from your responsibilities, or simply looking for a daily comedy show that embraces complete chaos, we're glad you're here.

Give Me The Big Unit All Day Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

It all starts innocently enough with a studio full of ponytails and a heated debate over whether the infamous 90s "butt cut" haircut deserves its comeback. Naturally, that conversation somehow turns into Jonathan Brandis nostalgia, Steven Seagal jokes, old-school Blockbuster memories, and the unmistakable smell of renting VHS tapes on a Friday night.

From there, the crew dives headfirst into today's weirdest headlines. They react to shocking wildfire stories overseas, discuss why nostalgia keeps pulling everyone back toward analog experiences, and break down one of the internet's biggest viral hiking rescues after a woman had to be airlifted from Yosemite. The conversation becomes equal parts funny, sympathetic, and completely derailed—as only this crew can manage.

Then comes the travel story nobody was emotionally prepared for.

Let's just say a beach rope swing, a vacation in Honduras, and one incredibly unfortunate landing create what may be one of the most unbelievable medical stories the show has covered in a long time. If you've already heard people mention "the grapefruit story," yes... this is that episode.

Along the way you'll also get movie talk, Christopher Nolan hype, Odyssey ticket frustrations, classic movie nostalgia, sarcastic observations about adulthood, and the kind of random conversations that somehow only make sense when the Rizz Show is having them.

A debate over why Trader Joe's chocolate bread somehow smells exactly like chicken fingers while someone cracks open a Celsius and declares they're about to get "lit." From there, the rails disappear completely.

The crew tackles one of humanity's most important questions: if civilization collapses tomorrow, who are you bringing with you? A combat medic? Engineer? Farmer? Navy SEAL? Jason Statham because apparently he's every profession? Or maybe just Monica Bellucci because if the world's ending, why not shoot your shot? Before long they're debating swimming zombies, Walking Dead logic, World War Z speed rankings, kayaks, Mississippi escape routes, island survival, and whether doctors or mechanics are the true MVPs of the apocalypse.

Tom Jones' family drama sparks a genuine discussion about fathers and responsibility before everyone gets distracted trying to determine what people actually call Tom Jones' famously enormous... reputation. Jimmy Buffett fans get some good news, Quiet Riot looks for a singer, ZZ Top reshuffles tour dates, and the crew debates whether fans are owed the original lead singer at every concert.

A celebration of friendship, softball, community, and the legacy of our friend Jeff Burton.

Jeff loved two things more than almost anything: his family and playing softball. Okay... maybe softball was tied for first. The guy practically lived at shortstop, and missing a game wasn't really in his vocabulary. After battling Crohn's disease and later cancer, Jeff's passion for helping others became just as legendary as his love of turning double plays.

Now his family keeps that legacy alive with the annual 100 Innings Challenge, raising money for Siteman Cancer Center while giving everyone an excuse to spend an entire day playing softball, laughing with friends, eating great food, and yes... enjoying a little free beer along the way.

Softball, Sips & Celebrating Jeff Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The Rizzuto Show welcomes the Burton family into the studio for one of our favorite conversations of the year—a celebration of friendship, softball, community, and the legacy of our friend Jeff Burton.

This daily comedy show somehow manages to bounce between heartfelt stories and complete nonsense in record time. We learn how the event works, why anyone can play—even if your softball skills belong on the playground bench—and why Team Rizz will once again embarrass itself in public for a good cause.

Melanie explains how solo players get matched onto teams, why the games move surprisingly fast, and how the Burton family somehow survives playing nearly half the innings themselves. Julie shares how the event began, the incredible support from the softball community, and why this year's move to Fenton helps honor Jeff's father and the Burton family's softball roots.

Naturally, the conversation quickly derails into fake mustaches for underage beer drinkers, firefighters beating police officers, questionable coaching decisions from Rafe and Riz, dunk tanks, hepatitis jokes, and the realization that nobody listens to our coaching anyway.

Whether you're planning to lace up your cleats or just show up to support an incredible cause, this episode reminds everyone that community events don't have to be boring—they can be hilarious, meaningful, and maybe just a little chaotic.

It's another daily comedy show episode that perfectly captures why The Rizzuto Show has always been about more than just laughs. Sometimes it's about showing up for friends, keeping traditions alive, and helping make a difference while making fun of ourselves every step of the way.

If you're anywhere near St. Louis on August 22, grab your team—or don't, because they'll find one for you—and come celebrate Jeff the way he'd want: with softball, laughter, cold drinks, and one ridiculously long day on the diamond.

Thanks for listening to another daily comedy show from the crew that somehow turns charity softball into comedy gold.

Zombie Apocalypse Drafts, $1,000 Bets & Chicken Fingers That Smell Like Dessert Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

The only thing more dangerous than a zombie apocalypse might be putting this group in charge of surviving one.

Episode 143 begins exactly the way you'd expect absolutely nothing to begin—with a debate over why Trader Joe's chocolate bread somehow smells exactly like chicken fingers while someone cracks open a Celsius and declares they're about to get "lit." From there, the rails disappear completely.

As if that wasn't enough, Rafe finally settles a legendary $1,000 wager, Rizz starts planning his Paris adventure (which quickly becomes everyone convincing him to visit Jim Morrison's grave before literally anything else), and the gang dives into celebrity headlines that bounce from surprisingly emotional to wonderfully ridiculous.

Movie talk includes Tom Cruise returning for another lap in Days of Thunder, Glenn Powell stepping into the role of Lou Gehrig, Tom Holland preparing to become Fred Astaire, and a healthy amount of praise for great racing movies, Frankenstein reboots, and anything that gives Moon an excuse to recommend another film.

The episode wraps with an all-out Guns N' Roses debate where Billboard's rankings get roasted harder than the listeners, proving once again that no music list survives five minutes around this crew.

If you love daily comedy, ridiculous hypotheticals, celebrity news, pop culture arguments, hilarious tangents, and the kind of conversations that somehow begin with breakfast food and end with zombie survival plans, you've found exactly what you were looking for. This daily comedy episode delivers the perfect mix of weird news, sarcastic humor, entertainment gossip, and the lovable chaos that makes The Rizzuto Show one of the funniest morning shows anywhere.

Whether you're listening during your commute, pretending to work, or actually preparing for the zombie apocalypse (we don't judge), thanks for hanging out with us. This daily comedy is proof that no topic is safe once the microphones turn on.

    Ponytails, Butt Cuts & a Grapefruit-Sized Emergency Jul 23, 2026
    Show notes

There are days when The Rizzuto Show has a plan... and then there are episodes like this one.

It all starts innocently enough with a studio full of ponytails and a heated debate over whether the infamous 90s "butt cut" haircut deserves its comeback. DAILY PODCAST: Please Destroy My Property Signed Lern Elwell | The Rizzuto Comedy Show Jul 22, 2026
    Show notes

Today’s episode combines three separate journeys into the strange, confusing, and occasionally lubricated corners of modern life—which is another way of saying nobody stopped us from turning on the microphones.

First, the show investigates a mime whose behavior allegedly escalated from silently unsettling to stripping down, covering himself in cooking oil, and working out in a public park. Finally, a fitness routine for people who think normal gyms contain entirely too much talking. The crew debates whether mimes belong to the clown family, why painted faces activate the human fight-or-flight response, and whether a silent man glistening in canola oil is somehow more or less threatening than a regular mime. This is the kind of responsible public discussion you expect from a comedy podcast with access to microphones and absolutely no mime-control legislation.

Then we enter the Hydration Industrial Complex. Every few years, society apparently selects a new water bottle and collectively decides it is no longer a container—it is a lifestyle, a personality, and possibly a dependent. Stanley, Hydro Flask, Yeti, Owala, CamelBak and the rest of the reusable plastic museum all get examined while the crew admits their cabinets are basically archaeological sites filled with abandoned drinkware. We also learn that some bottles may be washed only through sacred hand-cleaning rituals, while others were free promotional items that now hold pens because even hydration has winners and losers.

The chaos continues with a round of music Jeopardy that immediately proves knowing a song and understanding the rules of Jeopardy are two completely different qualifications. There are arguments over buzzing in, demanding answers in the form of a question, and whether anyone involved should ever be trusted to host a nationally syndicated game show. Match Up with Moon delivers even more academic excellence as the crew attempts to identify the “stinking rose,” explain what MBA stands for, and survive trivia questions clearly designed by someone with a personal grudge.

From there, we travel to Ellisville, where a resurfaced social media trend has teenagers crashing through vinyl fences while yelling like the Kool-Aid Man. Because apparently the newest generation looked at expensive property damage and thought, “This could use branding.” The crew explores the Kool-Aid challenge, the surprisingly inflation-resistant price of Kool-Aid packets, the many voices behind the famous pitcher, and whether suburban homeowners should begin painting designated impact zones on their fences.

There’s also Halloween planning, questionable zombie game-show-host costumes, haircut anxiety, celebrity chaos, nostalgia, strange history, and enough pop culture commentary to make this daily comedy feel like scrolling the entire internet while five sarcastic people yell from inside your phone.

It’s a comedy podcast about mimes, hydration, trivia, Halloween, viral stupidity and the comforting realization that no matter how strange your day has been, at least you probably didn’t cover yourself in cooking oil and silently do lunges near a hiking trail.

Unless you did. In that case, please stop following people.

A Creepy Mime Covered in Cooking Oil?! | Match Up with Moon Gets Brutal Jul 22, 2026
    Show notes

Today's episode somehow begins with one of the creepiest news stories imaginable and somehow gets even weirder from there. A Massachusetts mime allegedly spent months terrifying people at a park before stripping down, coating himself in cooking oil, and breaking into an outdoor workout. Naturally, this leads the crew into an unexpectedly deep conversation about clown culture, why mimes are unsettling, irrational fears, comedy trends, and whether anyone should ever trust someone silently making eye contact from across a hiking trail.

From there, everything immediately goes off the rails—as it usually does.

The crew debates whether mimes actually count as clowns, why Robin Williams somehow enters the conversation, and whether cooking oil selection says something about your personality. There are plenty of sarcastic detours, plenty of roasting, and exactly zero useful life advice.

Then it's time for another unforgettable round of Match Up with Moon.

This may be one of the toughest trivia rounds yet. Titanic. Garlic. Wonder Woman. Norman Rockwell. The Saturday Evening Post. MBA degrees. Somehow everyone knows just enough to be confidently wrong while simultaneously making each other laugh even harder. Moon questions every answer he's ever known, Riz battles to break a losing streak, and King Scott's trivia wording creates just enough chaos to spark an all-time debate over the tiebreaker.

It's everything you expect from a daily comedy podcast—friends arguing over facts that probably won't improve your life while making your commute dramatically more entertaining.

If you enjoy weird news, hilarious conversations, sarcastic humor, ridiculous games, pop culture commentary, celebrity gossip, and a cast that's never afraid to roast each other (or themselves), you've found your people. Whether you've been listening for years or you're discovering the crew for the first time, this episode delivers exactly the unpredictable energy that keeps listeners coming back.

This daily comedy show continues proving that the funniest moments are usually the completely unexpected ones. One minute you're learning about the psychology of clown fears, the next you're debating garlic nicknames, and before you know it everyone is arguing over magazine circulation numbers like it's the biggest issue in America.

That's just another morning with The Rizzuto Show.

If this episode made you laugh, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who appreciates bizarre headlines, ridiculous trivia, and unapologetically sarcastic humor. There's always another unbelievable story waiting around the corner, and somehow the crew always finds a way to make it even funnier.

Water Bottle Wars, Jeopardy Chaos & Celebrity Drama Jul 22, 2026
    Show notes

Apparently your water bottle says more about you than your personality ever could.

This episode starts with the crew uncovering the shocking truth that every few years a new water bottle brand completely takes over society. Stanley, Hydro Flask, Yeti, Owala... are we hydrating or just collecting emotional support cups? The gang breaks down every hydration trend from the last decade while exposing who's secretly obsessed with insulated bottles and who proudly survives on free swag from company events.

From there, things somehow get even weirder.

The crew jumps into a homemade game of Jeopardy featuring songs that begin with the letter "G," and what should have been a simple trivia segment quickly turns into total chaos. Buzzing too early, forgetting the rules, arguing over answers, and roasting each other... basically everything you'd expect from The Rizzuto Show.

There's also a look Back in the Day with everything from Jeffrey Dahmer's arrest and America's Beautiful origins to remembering Ozzy Osbourne one year after his passing.

Then it's time for a massive Crap on Celebrities packed with entertainment news including:

    • Oasis climbing back onto the charts thanks to the FIFA World Cup

    • The latest on Jelly Roll and Bunny XO's divorce rumors

    • Snoop Dogg's upcoming biopic

    • Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees

    • Billy Idol almost becoming the T-1000 in Terminator 2

    • RoboCop returning as a TV series

    • Netflix bringing back Untold

    • MrBeast getting married

    • Ryan Reynolds teasing another Deadpool

    • Greta Van Fleet's newest music

    • Marilyn Manson's latest single

    • LEGO's incredible X-Files set

    • Plus birthdays, random movie facts, and enough sarcastic commentary to make your morning considerably more entertaining.

As always, nobody stays on topic for very long, facts are occasionally questioned, and somehow everyone leaves knowing far more about trendy water bottles than anyone should.

If your idea of a daily comedy show involves pop culture, hilarious fails, weird news, music, celebrity gossip, random trivia, and friends making each other laugh for over two hours, you've found your people.

Thanks for making The Rizzuto Show part of your day. Whether you're listening on your commute, pretending to work, or hiding from your responsibilities, we're glad you're here.

Don't forget to subscribe, leave a review, and share the episode with someone who definitely owns at least three different reusable water bottles.

Kool-Aid Chaos, Haircuts, and Halloween Hysteria! Jul 22, 2026
    Show notes

The gang starts the morning the only way they know how—immediately making fun of each other. Haircuts become serious business, Halloween planning starts months early, and somehow the conversation turns into whether a Saturday Halloween means society is doomed or simply more opportunities for bad decisions.

Then comes one of the strangest stories of the day: a resurfaced TikTok trend has kids channeling the Kool-Aid Man by running through backyard fences. Yes, seriously. The crew debates whether today's version of the Kool-Aid Man sounds more exhausted than enthusiastic, imagines the mascot's depressing off-camera life, and somehow builds an entire fictional cinematic universe around a giant glass pitcher.

Things only get weirder from there.

A shocking local restaurant embezzlement case sparks a conversation about trust, loyalty, and how someone can allegedly steal over a million dollars while everyone else is just trying to order steak and creamed spinach. Naturally, that evolves into a full-blown discussion about the perfect steakhouse experience, favorite sides, desserts, and whether bread pudding deserves respect or belongs in the trash.

Because this is a daily comedy podcast, no topic stays on the rails for very long.

The bets continue as old wagers resurface, money changes hands, and Rafe and Rizz revisit one of their ongoing arguments. Meanwhile, Moon offers life lessons, Lern questions everyone's food choices, and the crew proves once again that even paying somebody back can become a comedy segment.

Later, everyone dives into a surprisingly relatable discussion about Gen Z avoiding awkward Venmo requests. Why are people afraid to ask friends for money they're owed? The conversation becomes equal parts financial advice, therapy session, and roast of anyone who's ever conveniently "forgotten" to pay someone back after a vacation or concert.

If you enjoy a daily comedy podcast packed with ridiculous conversations, hilarious detours, pop culture commentary, local stories, and friends roasting each other without mercy, this episode delivers from beginning to end.

Whether you're here for weird news, funny celebrity gossip, Halloween hype, questionable financial decisions, or simply hearing four friends turn everyday headlines into nonstop laughs, this is another classic episode of The Rizzuto Show.

Thanks for listening to the daily comedy podcast that proudly proves absolutely everything can become comedy with the right group of idiots around the microphones.
