Behind The Bike: Cotic RocketMAX Feb 24, 2020

Show notes

The Behind The Bike series aims to open the doors to bike brands and, introduce you to the people who help bring specific bikes to the market. On this episode I sat down with a couple of friends of mine Cy Turner and Rich Baybutt to talk all things Cotic at their HQ in Calver. Cy and Rich are both friends of mine so we decided to approach this episode a little different and just hit record and discuss what ever came up, along with answering listener questions and releasing details of an upcoming event.

I've been riding their UK built RocketMAX for a couple of months now so we take a deep dive into the development of this particular model and a bunch of other topics surrounding the brand. Episode links:- Birth of a bike video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT4BmCiFNhs&feature=emb_logo

#091 Jack Plowman Dec 19, 2019

Show notes

Jack Plowman is the owner of The Asylum skatepark and, a guy who went all in to open his first park at just 22 years of age. I have huge respect for anybody who takes a risk and does something out of the ordinary so, I was stoked to head to the new Asylum facility just outside Nottinghamshire to find out more about his business and some of the challenges that come with running a skatepark. I hope everybody who listens grasps just how much of a passion project this is for both Jack, his family and friends. Its a remarkable story and one that probably doesn't get enough credit. After all, these facilities don't just build themselves... VOTE FOR YOUR 2019 GUEST OF THE YEAR!
