    REShow: Peter King - hour 1 (02-12-21) Feb 12, 2021
    Show notes

Rich kicks off the hour reacting to the news that the Texans have released 3-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt, and examines what Watt’s release means for the team’s impasse with disgruntled QB Deshaun Watson.

NBC Sports’ Peter King and Rich discuss the Texans CEO’s comments that he expects Deshaun Watson to remain on the team, why Houston released J.J. Watt instead of trading him, if there’s any chance the Texans can mend fences with Watson, Trevor Lawrence’s pro day and the misinformation gamesmanship teams play when the NFL Draft approaches, why the Eagles haven’t traded Carson Wentz yet, Jimmy Garoppolo’s future with the 49ers, and who was surprisingly left out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2021.

Rich wraps up the hour offering his tongue-in-cheek advice on what parents should say to young Houston fans with all their sports heroes leaving town, and his Jets fan reaction to Trevor Lawrence absolutely KILLING it at his Clemson pro day for NFL scouts.

    Show notes

The hour starts with Rich doing a group interview with Buccaneers legends Warren Sapp, John Lynch and Derrick Brooks discussing Lynch’s recent election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, how they were motivated to greatness by the Steelers’ iron Curtain defense, and a great story about that time Lynch and Sapp tried to get Sapp benched and how then-coach Tony Dungy reacted to that suggestion.

Rich and the guys throw kudos to Tom Brady’s daughter for being the lone voice of reason during the Buccaneers raucous boat parade celebration.

‘Brother from Another’ co-host Michael Holley and Rich discuss Tom Brady’s Super Bowl win and why he had every right to go overboard (figuratively) during the Bucs victory parade.

    REShow: Ricky Williams - hour 2 (02-11-21) Feb 11, 2021
    Show notes

Rich and Brockman start the hour recapping the historic trade in 1999 that saw the Saints send a TON of draft picks to Washington in order to draft Texas Heisman Trophy-winning running back Ricky Williams.

Rich examines the latest on the Carson Wentz trade front and wonders if the Eagles asking price is too high for the once highly-regarded QB, and explains why Matthew Stafford to the Rams will be one of the most compelling storylines of the 2021 NFL season.

Former All-Pro NFL running back Ricky Williams and Rich discuss his new ‘Curious Questions’ podcast based on his guests astrological signs, how different his career would have been had he not been drafted by the Saints and reveals which team he was hoping would draft him, if he would do that notorious ESPN the Magazine cover again where he posed next to Mike Ditka while wearing a wedding dress, why he had to sell his Heisman Trophy, and what Tom Brady and Rich’s zodiac signs surprisingly say about their personalities.

Rich wraps up the hour previewing Trevor Lawrence’s pro day and offers up some advice for the soon-to-be #1 overall draft pick.

Buccaneers linebacker Devin White and Rich discuss his celebrating Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl win by riding around Raymond James Stadium on horseback, how the Bucs were able to shut down the Chiefs’ “gimmicky” offense, meeting Tom Brady for the first time and Brady fully embracing the Bucs’ boat parade celebration, and how much better he can get after two stellar NFL seasons.
