he second female was fighting, speaking in tongues, and looked me in the eye. I could see the evil inside and recognized the similarities from the previous case. She began repeating the same statements as the first female. She was fighting for custody of her daughter, just like the first female. She was a prostitute like the first female. This time, "it" kept asking me to look at the moon. The demon inside the woman influenced her to rip her clothes off. This time, however, it kept mentioning that it was trying to "understand" our "species" and said "it will all be over now." Then it started naming the people it would spare. And said to some of the officers and emergency personnel that they were "free.” When it looked at me it became angry and said I was not free like the others. It knew that I knew what it truly was. But this time the emergency workers gave a newer drug for sedation. It didn't like that, it started twisting with an arched back like it was throwing a tantrum, and then it screamed its name. Its demon name. I didn't know at the time, I knew the possessed woman's real name, but the thing inside her started yelling at the top of its lungs identifying itself by a demon name. Yes, she suffered a mental illness perhaps, yes she was on drugs, and yes it appeared that she was hallucinating. But this was real. Jesus. God says to the serpent, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel” (Gen. 3:15). Christ, the offspring of Eve, would crush the head of that old serpent. Christ’s body was mortally wounded in the process, but He rose from the dead in victory! His death was but a strike to the heel. On the other hand, Satan was defeated over and over by Jesus during His earthly life. Then at the cross he was utterly conquered with no hope of ever rising again to victory. His head was totally crushed. Even now, as he continues to ravage the world with sickness, disease, temptation, and all kinds of evil, he is a completely vanquished and defeated foe. His only power is what we give him. Although Satan’s ultimate defeat came through the death and resurrection of Christ, Jesus beat the devil soundly at every turn throughout His earthly life.
