Psalm 5 For the Music Director. With the flutes. A Psalm of David. 1 Give ear to my words, O Lord; consider my meditation. 2 Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You will I pray. 3 O Lord, in the morning You will hear my voice; in the morning I will direct my prayer to You, and I will watch expectantly.
Preparing for a day has a lot to it doesn’t it? There is the coffee, the kids, school, workout, getting showers, fixed up, clothes, breakfasts, prep lunches, jobs to get to, cars to warm up (if needed), the weather of the day, traffic ….. how’s your morning routine? For many that’s a lot of stuff just to start the day, not to mention workday, workplace, school, lunch, getting off and back home etc. etc. its like a million things to do for some…. How about that prayer time? 10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that should come to you have inquired and searched diligently, 11 seeking the events and time the Spirit of Christ, who was within them, signified when He foretold the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, concerning the things which are now reported to you by those who have preached the gospel to you through the Holy Spirit, who was sent from heaven—things into which the angels desire to look. 1 Peter 1
Pressing Toward the Mark 12 Not that I have already attained or have already been perfected, but I follow after it so that I may lay hold of that for which I was seized by Christ Jesus. 13 Brothers, I do not count myself to have attained, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Joshua said to the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will perform wondrous deeds among you.” Joshua 3:5 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed; His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 INTRO- The door is open ‘FREEDOM’ from and freedom to 5 RUSS DIZDAR © THE RAGGED EDGE RADIO WORLD WIDE LIVE NOTES 1. Today….. today is powerful day for you and I and what we make of it will count for so many things. As a believer in Christ we want our lives to glorify Christ and we want to be able to live powerfully in these ‘engaging days’ If I am going to launch into 2020 … to see great changes, make an impact and see God at work in my life, then I need two things: 1. To see what I need to get rid of 2. To see what I need to embrace Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom
Luke 2 The Birth of Jesus 2 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the entire inhabited earth should be taxed. 2 This taxation was first made when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 And everyone went to his own city to be taxed. 4 So Joseph also departed from the city of Nazareth in Galilee to the City of David which is called Bethlehem, in Judea, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be taxed with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So while they were there, the day came for her to give birth. 7 And she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in strips of cloth, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. The Shepherds and the Angels 8 And in the same area there were shepherds living in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And then an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were very afraid. 10 But the angel said to them, “Listen! Do not fear. For I bring you good news of great joy, which will be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign to you: You will find the Baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly there was with the angel a company of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men.”

11 lest Satan should take advantage of us. For we are not ignorant of his devices. Paul’s Anxiety in Troas 12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened to me by the Lord, 13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I did not find Titus my brother. So taking my leave of them, I went from there into Macedonia. 14 Now thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ and through us reveals the fragrance of His knowledge in every place
