1245 | Denis Waitley: “Money Flows to Great Ideas and to Persistence.” Sep 09, 2021
    Show notes

On today's episode, Denis Waitley gives you the attitude and action steps that make a real winner in life. Attitude plays a BIG role in your success. Your attitude either serves as a lock or the key to your door to success.
Denis elaborates on the winning attitudes common in people who become so uncommonly prosperous. The true winners in life are the kind that helps others too, the one who empowers and builds other winners too. And this kind of empowerment comes initially from positive self-awareness. He explains that positive self-awareness is to see your unlimited greatness and potential within you. It's deconstructing the self-limiting beliefs we often impose on ourselves.
Finally, the true winners in life are those who free themselves and others from the burden of these self-limiting ideas that hinder our pursuit of greatness.

1244 | Carla Harris: “You Know Better, You Do Better.” Sep 08, 2021
    Show notes

On today's episode, Carla Harris illustrates how the cost of inaction can be greater than making a mistake. May it be in your career or your relationship, she highlights the power of human creativity. Indeed, there's no such thing as too late. As the great Maya Angelou once said, "When you know better, you do better." And now that you know better, then just start. For this reason, Carla explains the importance of being strategic and making sure to get things done.
Just because you aren't the person you want to become now doesn't mean you won't be. The power of human creativity is precisely what allows us to evolve. We all grow and develop. In Carla's words, "Every experience you have will give you a blessing or a lesson."

1243 | Dr. George Fraser: “We are Much More than That.” Sep 07, 2021
    Show notes

Today, Dr. George Fraser reveals two habits that will bring you prosperity, wealth, and success. The first habit is the insatiable appetite for growth and development, that is, to always be learning and constantly improving. Actualize your greatness by developing reading habits, pursuing education, not as a requirement but as a quest for lifelong learning.
Dr. Fraser notes that the core elements missing in the context of today’s culture are obedience and discipline. For this reason, he accentuates the second habit to cultivate is the discipline to do work and obedience to seek answers about your purpose in life that’s bigger than yourself. It’s not enough to only want success, be willing to pay the price, and have the courage to stay the course. After all, any goal without an action plan is nothing but a wish.

1240 | Tom Morris: “Do Not Allow What is Very Good to Keep You from What is Best.” Sep 02, 2021
    Show notes

Today, Tom Morris reveals one of the universal conditions for success. Drawing wisdom from the wisest sages of all ages, he shares the importance of having a clear goal or a target. You may dream big dreams, but if you have no vivid vision of your dreams, then you’re simply going nowhere. As Seneca put it, “No wind blows in favor of a ship without direction.” Have a clear conception of what you want to do.
Tom shares the fundamental insights relevant to goal setting. Apparently, too many people waste their time running after the wrong thing. Which is why it’s so important to know thyself and invest in self-knowledge. Finally, know that you always deserve the best. DO NOT allow what is very good to keep you from what is best.

1239 | Louise Hay: “Loving Yourself is the Most Powerful Thing We Can Do.” Sep 01, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s episode, the legendary Louise Hay reveals that one of the most powerful things you can do is love yourself. Because the moment you begin to love yourself, then everything else flows beautifully.
Loving yourself does not necessarily mean vanity. Instead, Louise clarifies that to love oneself is to respect and appreciate the magnificent being you are.
She firmly believes that you still have the freedom to choose what to think and say in this present moment, despite what we’ve all been through. We get to choose our own way, we can decide to change the way we think, and we can choose to love ourselves despite what others say and what they do.
Above all, Louise affirms that you’re in charge of creating your world and life. As Louise put it, “Every thought we think is creating our future.” Create a life that you want to live in.

1238 | Darren Hardy: “You are The Causal Source of Everything in Your Life.” Aug 31, 2021
    Show notes

Have you ever wondered what distinguishes successful people from everybody else? In today’s episode, Darren Hardy reveals the critical difference between the ordinary and the truly extraordinary.
The fundamental foundation upon which success is built is none other than yourself; not your race, age, gender, and the like, but you. What ultimately matters is what you contribute to the world and how you add value to the lives of others.
It’s not mainly about the opportunity, timing, or circumstances that determine what you can achieve. Everything is centered on you. If you grow and focus on your development every day, everything else in life grows with you. In Darren’s words, “The outcomes in your life can only ever be as big as you.”

1237 | Brendon Burchard: “Their Energy is Not Your Energy.” Aug 30, 2021
    Show notes

Brendon Burchard kicks off the week as shares a highly valuable insight about cultivating happiness and surrounding the world with the energy of joy, love, and hope.
Like Brendon says, “No matter your position, circumstances, or opportunities in life, you always have the freedom of mind to choose how you experience, interpret, and, ultimately, shape your world.”
And the key is to manage your energy. Always remember that other people’s energy is not your energy. You have to self-will how you want to feel. In other words, you may not have control over other people’s reactions, but you have control over how you manage your energy and not let other people’s energy consume you and your well-being. Learning how to manage your energy allows you to nourish and share the energy of joy and love with the world.

1236 | Greg McKeown: “If You Don’t Prioritize Your Life Someone Else Will.” Aug 27, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s episode, Greg McKeown talks about the paradox of success where ironically, success itself can become a catalyst for failure. He points out that since success comes with new options and opportunities, you’re bound to find yourself stretched too thin, be it at work or at home. Greg coins this as the undisciplined pursuit of more when the non-essential takes the place of what’s truly essential.
You have to become successful at success. Remember, a trade-off exists everywhere. So you can either be pulled in a million directions or be focused on the few things that really matter. He highlights the powerful idea of searching for something significant and designing your life around that essential few or those that truly matter.
