EP 3. RUN ME MY MONEY!! Jul 30, 2020

Show notes

Reparations have been a taboo topic but no more. The American Government paid former slave owners for every slave they had to free but never paid the slave for the torture they endured! The American Government needs to take ownership for the enslavement of black people and the long lasting effects that decision has until this day! H.R. 40 is a bill in Congress to study the effects of slavery on black people and issue the appropriate remedies. Reparations have to be on the table when we talk about racial reconciliation in this country. In this video I make the case for the American Government to pay reparations to Black Americans and give history on how America has paid reparations for another ethic group in the 1980’s! EP 1. Use WHITE PRIVILEGE for good Jul 29, 2020

Show notes

With all that is going on with massive uprisings around the country after the murder of George Floyd I have had a few white brothers and sisters reach out to me. They wanted to know what they could do to help the movement as they now see how their white privileged props them up while it keeps others down. These are my thought and are not the end all be all on what one could do to use their privilege to fight for a more equal and equitable society. Instagram: TheQueueWithQue TikTok: QuentinJiles
