On this installment of your fave Black music podcast, Co-hosts Muse and Steph battle it out with artists and platforms that are trying to stray away from R&B by way of subgenres. Alternative R&B doesn't exist in their world but that's not all. Lizzo is causing a ruckus because of a write up, DC won't be muted, and the two music heads take time out to Remember John Singleton. With plenty a tangent in between, dive into another hilarious episode of The Psyce.
Featured Songs:
Anderson Paak - Reachin' 2 Much (ft. Lalah Hathaway)
No Escape - Spree Wilson (ft. St. Beauty & Big Rube)

WHEN I SAY YEE, YOU SAY HAW!
*crowd yells* HAW!
I didn't say Fucking YEE
-Kacey Musgraves
Black people are bubbling in genres of music across the spectrum and thanks to the Yeehaw Agenda country music is the most recent to hit center stage. The Psyce gives a cute history lesson on the genre and the black contributions that continue to round out its sound. Also on the docket is the mystery behind Childish Gambino's "Guava Island", - Rihanna's in it so WE'RE WATCHING - The Millennium tour is doing bigger numbers than we thought, and much more. Join Muse + Steph as they make it plain that Country is just as much a black form of music as Jazz or R&B is in their own obnoxious way.
Featured Songs:
Kane Brown - Saturday Nights (Remix)(w/ Khalid)
Lil Nas X - Old Town Road (Remix)(featuring Billy Ray Cyrus)

With all that's happening in the world and the industry, Muse & Steph can't help but think of shallow distractions. 2019 is shaping up to be a great year for music but the co-hosts' fave artists refuse to look the part. On this episode, The Psyce pair is begging the question "Where are the Beat Girls?". From Kelis to Rihanna, these two track down the fashion elite (or lack thereof) in today's music.
*No pots and pans were harmed during the recording of this episode. That was just Stephanye marinating and baking Ribs.
Featured Songs:
Brooke Valentine - Now
VanJess - Easy (featuring Berhana & Leikeli47)

Presenting a new segment to the show - Now Playing - this installment of "the Psyce" takes listeners down the road of Q(ute)1 and all of the co-hosts fave music therein. From Albums to Singles, these two musicheads go tit for tat on the best of the quarter. Muse & Steph don't know who YesJulz is, do you? And why is Daniel Caesar caping for her? Last Question - y'all still won't let Normani just be Normani? Anyway, jump into this episode for more of R&B music's favorite screaming match that never fails to be LOUD + RIGHT

The Psyce is celebrating Women's History Month by highlighting all of the new lyrical ladies of hip-hop. Solange has pleasantly surprised the twitter-sphere and she's not the only one with a new project that we can't get enough of. Apparently R&B died yet again and the internet is blaming Ella Mai. Listen as Muse and Steph challenge this claim and tell the real real as per usual.
Featured Songs:
Solange - Stay Flo
Megan Thee Stallion - Big Ole Freak

To close out Black Future Monf, the cast invited @EB4Prez to bestow his wealth of music knowledge upon us all. With an honorary PHD in R&B and a concentration in Mary, Eric Black is yelling in the Mic with Muse & Steph about some of his website's most sought after topics. Now that the Grammy's are over, it's gloatin' time because - as per usual - The Psyce was loud and right. Also if you don't know, now you know that Ciara Princess Supa C Harris-Wilson is back with a new single and resting in the pocket we all want for her. Listen as your fave cohosts and their special guest dish about industry insiders and old vs. new R&B/Soul music, R&Beefs, and who stole what song from who.

Hailing from the Nation's capital and the city of brotherly love, respectively, Muse and Steph uplift their Hometowns and the music therein. In true Psyce style, the co-hosts go off on a tangent about upcoming music festivals, Princess Nokia's false claims, and Soulja Boy's recent press run. Steph schools the listeners on the Philadelphia sound while Muse sits down with a D.C. Legend. No bottles of liquor were harmed during the taping of this episode. Enjoy :)
