The PewterCast, LIVE - The Bucs Sign Leonard Fournette Sep 03, 2020

Show notes

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their ALL IN offseason with their latest high profile signing recent free agent Leonard Fournette. And we do what we do, which is go LIVE to talk about it within minutes of the news breaking. Plus we opened the phones and chat rooms on both Youtube and Facebook. Brent and Ren each see this playing out differently. Is Fournette here to take Rojo's spot? Become another depth piece in the RB room? What does this mean for the salary cap? What does this mean for signing more depth on the defense where it's so desperately needed? And what would we ask Bruce Arians in the press conference tomorrow.

Buccaneers Training Camp Week 3, Who's Hot and Who's Not Aug 24, 2020

Show notes

Week 3 of Training Camp has come and gone, but this week, the Buccaneers got to finally put on some pads and hit. There was a TON of video and press conferences the team put out. So Brent and Ren watched every single to minute and in this episode will distill what they learned as they go through the position groups on the team to discuss who is standing out and shining verses who's coming off a bit lack luster and dull. Plus, Ren goes on an epic rant before the show even starts to get some things off his chest regarding the types of questions being asked at these press conferences

How Will the New Media Rules Affect the Fan Experience? w/ Greg Auman Jul 09, 2020

Show notes

The NFL released the new rules for the media during Training Camp, and we bring on Greg Auman, of TheAthletic.com to discuss these new rules, and more importantly, how they will affect fans during Camp and potentially into the season. A big part of how we, as fans, get to experience the team is through the media, and with less access, does that mean less coverage? And what will the media be allowed to report on or not.

How the New CBA 5th Year Option Overhaul Will Affect the Buccaneers Jun 08, 2020

Show notes

This year, the NFL and the NFLPA agreed upon a new Collective Bargaining Agreement that will last for the next 10 years. One of the biggest changes in the new CBA is the 5th Year Option received a complete Overhaul. It's not as straight forward as it's been in years past, and this has some implications for current Bucs players Vita Vea, Devin White, and Tristan Wirfs, as well as any new first round players moving forward. Things are about to get a little trickery for GM Jason Licht and Bucs Capologist Mike Greenberg.

We break it down plus more about Pro-Bowl voting and Bucs playoff potential this year.
