    He's most known as a great guitarist and fiddler. He's played in the styles of rock 'n roll, country, gospel and traditional music. He's most known for his association with the legendary Jerry Lee Lewis. Lovelace has appeared on stage in countless concerts with Jerry Lee Lewis and has played on the majority of his records.

    Mr. Kenny Lovelace is also a singer, bandleader, songwriter and as you'll soon her, a great interviewee. He has worked with so many of the greats from Johnny Cash to Carl Perkins.

    We’re presenting Paul’s interview with the late Troy Allan.

    Troy Allan was a singer-songwriter from Texas who lived from June 27, 1967- November 11, 2010. In addition to being a bass player in the band Hannah’s Reef, Troy Allan released several albums including One Man, One Guitar; Just South of Corpus, and Party at the Bottom of the Pool, which was released after he passed away.

    This interview and acoustic performances was recorded in the home of Monte Tolar, another Texan who is no longer with us. As you will hear in the interview, Troy Allan had a rare type of stomach cancer called Linitis Plastica. He became the longest living person to have the disease and in spite of this embarked on a 100 house concert tour called the “Troy Allan Cancer Free 100 House Concert Tour.”

    Her other releases are also worth checking out. Cheryl D. Barnes released a debut studio album entitled “Cheryl,” and she also released a live album with the Phillip Cabasso Orchestra entitled “Live at the Baked Potato.”

    Ralph Shaw is an entertainer who performs on a banjo-ukulele. He is a witty recording artist and showman with a love and passion for performing.     His work, including solo albums and a book, has played a crucial role in creating the current ukulele boom. He joins us to talk about his musical world, his songwriting and more.
