    Frank Stallone is a Grammy and Golden Globe nominated actor, singer, and musician. The writer and publisher of more than 200 songs, his talent is versatile. He's recorded and performed everything from rock to big band music. With four Platinum Albums, ten Gold Albums and five Gold Singles, Frank Stallone has acted in over 60 on-screen projects from television shows like Walker Texas Ranger to iconic films like Tombstone. His music has been heard in soundtracks to more than a dozen motion pictures like Staying Alive, Rocky I, II and III, Rambo II, Paradise Alley and Over the Top.

    Pat Alger is a master of songwriting. As a singer and guitarist, he has made recordings under his own name. However, songs written or co-written by Pat Alger have been recorded by a number of other artists: Livingston Taylor, Nanci Griffith, Kathy Mattea, Hal Ketchum, Peter, Paul and Mary; Dolly Parton, etc. Some of his most well known songs were written with Garth Brooks: "The Thunder Rolls" and "Unanswered Prayers."

    An inductee of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, it's our great pleasure to present one of songwriting's all time greats right here on The Paul Leslie Hour.

    Joel Murray is an actor of the stage and screen, writer, and director. Known for his work in such films and television series as: Shameless, Mad Men, God Bless America, Dharma & Greg, and The Artist. In fact, he has acted in more than 250 TV sitcom episodes.

    He is one of the performers in "Whose Live Anyway?" coming to the Southeastern United States: Georgia, North Carolina and Texas, on May 8th "Whose Live Anyway?" will be coming to Atlanta at the famed Tabernacle. The tour continues through 2018 with dates throughout the United States and in Canada.

    Wayne Kirkpatrick is a songwriter, musician and producer. A very versatile writer, he's written in the styles of pop, contemporary Christian, country and for the musical theatre world. He's been called "a songwriter's songwriter and his songs have been covered by a long list of recording artists: Joe Cocker, Amy Grant, Kathy Mattea, Garth Brooks, Bonnie Raitt, Faith Hill, Michael W. Smith, Eric Clapton and others. Wayne Kirkpatrick is also a record producer and recorded his own work. He is the co-creator and co-composer of the musical "Something Rotten."

    Reneé Langvardt is an inspiring and respected entrepreneur. Visitors and residents of Clay Center, Kansas may be all too familiar with 505 Court Street in Clay Center: Home of the Java Junkies Coffee Shop. Java Junkies was named the Business of the Year for the State of Kansa and Langvardt was also given an award of merit by the Kansas Department of Commerce.

    We check in with Reneé amidst the hustle and bustle of the morning at her coffee shop. Her outlook is infectious and we think you'll dig the Reneé vibe.

    Jimmy Bowen is a record producer and former rockabilly singer. The story of Jimmy Bowen is that of a man who would change music forever. Starting out as a recording artist and performer, he soon realized he had a fascination and talent for producing records. At a young age, Frank Sinatra hired him as a producer for Reprise Records. Some of the most legendary tracks of all time were produced by Bowen. The duet of Frank Sinatra with his daughter Nancy Sinatra of "Something Stupid," Dean Martin's "Everybody Loves Somebody" and Sammy Davis, Jr.'s "I've Gotta Be Me." All Bowen! Moving to Nashville, Bowen produced the biggest stars in country music: George Strait, Reba McEntire, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Rogers and Hank Williams, Jr. just to name a few.

    The Jimmy Bowen story has seldom been told outside of his 1997 book "Rough Mix." Fortunately here on The Paul Leslie Hour, we found a great storyteller. Welcome to it.

    Tom Rush is a singer, musician, performer, entertainer, storyteller, guitarist and songwriter. 2018 will see the release of his new album "Voices" on Appleseed Recordings. A very distinctive singer and guitarist, Tom Rush's imprint on American music is substantial. It's been said that Rush ushered in the era of the singer-songwriter. His recordings of songs written by the likes of Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell and James Taylor created greater awareness of these artists work. Prominent recording artists such as James Taylor and Garth Brooks who both cited him as a primary influenced.

    On this episode of The Paul Leslie Hour, we are honored to welcome one of America's most original singers and recording artists. Among many topics, we focus on "Voices," an album consisting primarily of Tom Rush's own songs.

    Gordon Kennedy is a songwriter, musician and record producer. His songs have been recorded by a wide range of artists including Peter Frampton, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs and 15 songs for Garth Brooks. Kennedy co-wrote the international hit song "Change the World," recorded by Eric Clapton.

    A first on The Paul Leslie Hour, Gordon is the brother of Bryan Kennedy and son of Jerry Kennedy who were both recent guests. His sense of purpose will resonate with you!
