Nick – I just began the series ‘Return’ that you contributed in. We need to start to listen, so we are companionate with others and help them to listen back.
Patrick shares a story of a talk he gave at a big parish. During the questions and answers, a man broke down when Patrick wouldn’t argue with him but politely asked him to come back to the faith.
Kristi – Do I have to participate in rogation days? days of fasting and abstinence?
Noah – As a Catholic, how far can you support a pope if you disagree with him? (‘if he is a bad pope’)
Rich – What is your advice on attending a church that’s not very reverent.

Marilyn – What should I say to someone who says that the Catholic Church spends way too much money on their Churches
Powerful and moving Story: After giving advice to Marilyn who needed help responding to challenges against the church having so much wealth, Patrick shares a true story of a time when an ex-Catholic woman berated him about the Catholic Church and yet, also, was willing to share the real reasons why she hated the Church, which is because she had an abortion. In an amazing twist, that conversation that Patrick thought had ending in a complete disaster turned out to be the very thing she needed and resulted in her returning to the Catholic Church.
Denise – Looking at other religions and seeing these preachers and their mansions. How many hospitals and orphanages do these mega-churches have?
Jerry – I love the cathedrals, especially the ones in Europe. They are to give glory to God and I have known people who have converted because of the beauty of these churches.
Patrick shares a story of a bombardier who had a mystical experience seeing a bombed out Cathedral from his unique vantage point in the sky that lead him to become a Catholic. A momentary view of a Catholic Church changed his life. Be grateful for our beautiful churches.

Olga – The Social credit score in China is happening in Cuba, and it looks like the USA is in the beginning phases of this
Janet – Mother cows are so abused and they are kept pregnant and their calves are taken away from them. The babies cry for days and are used for veal.
Katie – I need a resource that will help my husband. He thinks that the early Church fathers were too influenced by Greek thought.
Barbara – My husband and I were civilly divorced. Do I have to get an annulment to be saved?
Ted – I have been struggling with same-sex attraction my whole life. What can I do to get past this? After a thoughtful conversation, and reminding Ted he is loved by Jesus, Patrick recommends he reach out to Joseph Sciambra for more help.
Patrick reminds us, regardless of our impulses, that we are called to be chaste. He recommends the book, “The Courage to be Chaste”.
Rhonda – If I am in Purgatory will I still be able to communicate with Jesus?
James – Is there anything in the bible that points to why we don’t eat meat on Friday?
Catherine – What is the teaching of the Catholic Church regarding miscarried babies and those who have not been baptized.
Judy – A family health situation and is causing me a lot of stress. It is taking a toile on the family. I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel like I am losing my faith.

Amy – I have an 11-year-old child with significant special needs. I was encouraged to abort him, but it has been positive in my life, even though difficult every day.
