    • Francisco - My wife went to work and I had to be at home. I think that it was God's way of telling me to take care of my kids. (19:03)
    • Sue - I am a working mom and I have a lot of regrets. The homemaking will always fall on us. So I think we are just making things harder for us by not staying home. (22:41)
    • Linda - I think being a stay at home mom is wonderful and I think all women should get to experience it
    • Anthony - I am a stay at home dad and the reversing of roles is hard. It was difficult for me to get used to, but after a while I started to see the blessings in it
    • Dolores - I think it's important for siblings to have shared time together as they are growing up.
    • Mary - I had to work because my husband had been in a religious order, so he didn't have income. We both had to work and raise the kids together. (40:27)
    • Diane - My mom stayed at home with us and worked nights. I got a Masters and I decided to stay at home with my kids instead of using it.
    • Suzie - We had to coordinate things and we were able to equally share the load.
    • Liz - My parents’ marriage has been a model for us and I wanted to state the importance of being a team player with your spouse

    • Linda - Several years ago, my children stopped going to church when they went to college. I started texting them Catholic bits and now both of my kids are back in the Church. (34:06)
    • Ann - My dad was a violent alcoholic. We convinced mom to leave the house before he killed her. It wasn't until my dad realized that she was serious about leaving that he turned his act around. He quit cold turkey and they were back together again.
    • Sylvia - I understand what George is going through. I am a recovering alcoholic. I put my family through a lot, but there is hope. (46:15)

    • Al - God does have an angry side to him. If the government decides to do digital currency, we have a right to defend ourselves.

    Patrick engages in a heated debate with Gabe, a belligerent, hostile caller who relentlessly challenges Patrick to defend the compatibility of religious beliefs as they conflict with the LGBTQ++ worldview. Patrick calmly and methodically turns the tables on Gabe, neutralizing his flailing attempts to fluster and put him on the defensive, by responding to his ferocity using the Socratic method of argumentation. This call generated a greater than usual massive outpouring of listener emails and phone calls, overwhelmingly expressing their astonishment and appreciation at how instructive this dramatic the call was.

    • Dave - I think a good perspective is that we have a lot of wealth and freedom now in work and in our society. I would go to games because of the social element. (08:50)
    • Dave - I would like to plug the Walton’s who you turned me on to and how great of a family they life they have. (12:14)
    • Gabe – Your anti-trans messaging is wrong (21:31)
    • Heidi - I think you could have made a few points with Gabe that could have helped. There are many countries that are not backing up trans. (42:38)
    • Paola - Could you talk about how you handled that last call and what debate tactic you used? (46:11)
