The Unsolved Murder of Terri McClure Part One Aug 12, 2021
    Show notes

January 14, 1983. 62-year old Terri McClure travels from her hometown of Reno, Nevada to attend the wedding of her son, Tim, in Lake Tahoe. After leaving the reception that night, Terri does not return home. Three days later, she is found shot to death inside her vehicle in the parking lot of a Carson City casino. Due to some suspicious behaviour and strange inconsistencies in his story, the investigation soon zeroes in on Tim McClure as the prime suspect. Tim is charged with his mother’s murder in 1992, but the surprising end result only opens up more unanswered questions. Was Terri McClure murdered by her own son or was someone else responsible? This week’s episode of “The Trail Went Cold” analyzes one of the most controversial and heavily discussed cases ever featured on “Unsolved Mysteries”.

This is a Jules & Ashley Patreon episode......So, If you want to see the type of content offered at Patreon.com/julesandashley here is a bonus episode so you can check it out for yourselves. In this episode Ashley tells me about the story of Andrea Yates, a mother who drowned her five children. This case isn't so cut and dry as there is a strong mental health argument for insanity and along the way so many things are addressed with regards to where the responsibility should fall in this case. We hope you enjoy:)

Patreon Sneak Peak: Don Kemp Jul 08, 2021
    Show notes

This is a single episode or a path went minisode. It isn't so mini, it's almost an hour and a half. We wanted to let everyone know what the content will be like on our Patreon feeds, so this is a good way to give it to you and see if you like it. If not, then we have plenty of free episodes to come. Next week we will back to our usual schedule of multi-part episodes:)
November 16, 1982. An abandoned SUV is discovered in the middle of a desolate Wyoming prairie and numerous possessions are scattered all over the highway. The vehicle belongs to Don Kemp, a former New York City ad executive who has left his old life behind and vanished without a trace. In spite of an extensive search of the area, it is four years before Don’s skeletal remains are found on the prairie. However, five months after Don originally disappeared, one of his friends allegedly received a series of bizarre phone calls from him. Did Don die of exposure shortly after abandoning his vehicle? Or was he killed elsewhere before his remains were somehow returned to the prairie years later? Join me for a new episode of “The Trail Went Cold”, as I analyze the very first case to ever be featured on “Unsolved Mysteries”.

Diana Robertson and Mike Reimer Part Two Jul 01, 2021
    Show notes

This is part 2 of 2 and will conclude the series on the murder of Diana Robertson and the potential murder of Mike Reimer.
December 12, 1985. 36-year old Mike Riemer and his 21-year old girlfriend Diana Robertson leave their home in Puyallup, Washington to take their two-year old daughter, Crystal, out for a day in the woods to get a Christmas tree. That afternoon, Crystal is discovered wandering alone outside a Kmart, but is unable to tell anyone where her parents are. Two months later, Diana is found murdered outside Mike’s truck on a remote logging road with a tube sock tied around her neck, but Mike himself has gone missing. Police begin to suspect that Mike killed Diana and could have been responsible for the murders of another couple from the area. In that case, a tube sock was also tied around the female victim’s neck. In 2011, a skull fragment belonging to Mike is found a mile away from where Diana was killed. Did Mike commit these murders, drop off his daughter, and return to the scene to commit suicide? Or was an unknown serial killer responsible for the deaths of all four of these victims? We attempt to answer these perplexing questions in this week’s episode of “The Path Went Chilly''
