Historic buildings collapsing from neglect, a homeless crisis worsening, a housing secretariate clapping for their reports and a Mayor's task force on accountability where no one shows up - leadership expert Graham Crawford and host Laura Babcock analyze Mayor Andrea Horwath's near invisibility a Mayor and failure to stand up to Premier Ford and fight for Hamilton. Hamilton is at a critical juncture, and the evidence is all around us: historic buildings crumbling due to neglect, a growing homeless crisis, and a leadership that seems more focused on self-congratulation than action. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to the alarming state of our city.

As leadership expert Graham Crawford points out, Mayor Andrea Horwath's near-invisibility is a significant concern. We deserve a mayor who will actively fight for our community and challenge Premier Ford's decisions that impact Hamilton. Instead, we have a task force on accountability where attendance is a problem and reports that garner applause rather than tangible change.

It’s time for us to demand more from our elected officials. We need proactive leadership that prioritizes the well-being of our residents and the preservation of our historical legacy. Our city deserves more than just reports; it deserves a leader who will stand up, speak out, and take meaningful steps toward a brighter future for all. Hamilton needs hope.
