Long before Edward Snowden’s claims or revelations that the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency were monitoring and tracking the Internet, cell phones, e-mails and any other electronic communication they could get their hands on using a program known as PRISM, there existed PROMIS [Prosecutors Management Information Systems].
PROMIS was designed in the late 1970s and ‘80s to bring Department of Justice criminal case management from the dark ages into the light of the computer age. In the spring of 1981, the Reagan Administration hailed PROMIS as one of law enforcements greatest assets. By 1983, PROMIS had morphed into the behemoth of intelligence gathering. It was not state of the art – it was the art.
Over the ensuing decades PROMIS is reported to have been used by the DOJ, CIA, NSA, and several foreign intelligence agencies including Israel’s Mossad. The ownership of PROMIS has been the subject of federal court hearings and a congressional investigation.
The capabilities of PROMIS as a data collection and tracking program have never been a secret. But the only discussion of PROMIS has been about theft and black-market sales. Neither the courts nor Congress have ever inquired as to privacy issues or the ethics of the program. There has been no rending of political robes as seen with the Snowden case. In fact, the function of PROMIS has been discussed in open court and various public arenas.

Park Police discovered Foster dead from an apparently self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head in Fort Marcy Park off the George Washington Parkway in Virginia on July 20, 1993. Foster was holding a gun in his hand. An autopsy and subsequent investigation later confirmed that Foster had died by shooting himself once in the mouth with the .38 calibre Colt revolver found at the scene.Or did he? Foster had been known to be unhappy with his job at the White House. Exactly why remains a subject of controversy. Accusations and criticisms were rife in his work.But the case didn't sit right. Foster wasn't logged out of the Whitehouse. The gun was found some distance from the body - a rare occurrence in gun shot suicides. And Forster's injuries were indicative of the pistol being held in the right hand, but Foster was left handed.Despite the reluctance of authorities to reopen the case, many researchers have postulated a number of different scenarios which ended in Foster's demise.Hugh Turley is one of those who has looked into the case. he shares his knowledge of the case with Ed Opperman.

Seldom can one predict that a book will have an effect on history, but this is such a work. Merton's many biographers and the American press now say unanimously that he died from accidental electrocution. From a careful examination of the official record, including crime scene photographs that the authors have found that the investigating police in Thailand never saw, and from reading the letters of witnesses, they have discovered that the accidental electrocution conclusion is totally false. The widely repeated story that Merton had taken a shower and was therefore wet when he touched a lethal faulty fan was made up several years after the event and is completely contradicted by the evidence.

Patrick Knowlton: Vince Foster Witness
Patrick Knowlton, a lifelong Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton in 1992, stopped in Fort Marcy Park to relieve his bladder just hours before White House Deputy Counsel Vincent Foster’s body was found. Little did he know that his life would never be same.
Knowlton saw another car with Arkansas license plates in the parking lot, but not Foster’s. He also was alarmed by the menacing-looking occupant of that vehicle.
However, Knowlton’s statement was completely misrepresented by the FBI. When he went public with his protests, strange things started happening around Knowlton. He experienced systematic harassment on the street witnessed by two reporters. When he was called before Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr’s grand jury, he was pummeled by the prosecutor.

Michael Rivero : The Death Of Vince Foster
This is the story that nobody dares touch. This is the story that ended my career in Hollywood back in 1994.
Despite having reported the discovery of Dr. Haut's signed report confirming the existence of a second wound to Vincent Foster's neck, radio host Rush Limbaugh to this very day refers to Vincent Foster's death as a suicide.
Even Matt Drudge, when presented with the FBI records proving that the FBI fraudulently manufactured Lisa Foster's recognition of the gun found at Fort Marcy Park, refused to get involved, opting instead for a story accusing Sidney Blumenthal of domestic violence (for which Drudge was then sued and made famous).
