    Show notes

Andrew Mason and Ryan Edwards of Orange and Blue 760 open up this week's podcast by discussing Emmanuel Sanders' recovery (2:00) from a torn Achilles tendon. At 3:45, Mason and Edwards break that down, and at 7:23, they incorporate Noah Fant and the tight ends into that conversation. At 17:30, the focus turns to the offensive line in the wake of Garett Bolles' comments about the alignment of guards Dalton Risner and Ron Leary. At 26:00, the chat becomes detail-oriented, focusing on the Broncos' emphasis on getting the little details right. Finally, at 37:00, Edwards, Mason and Ring of Famer talk with Watson about his return to Denver in a conversation that aired on Orange and Blue 760. Watson tells the guys how he was in Napa Valley when he learned of the trade. Horsin' Around: Vic Fangio establishes his culture, and a few minutes with Dalton Risner Apr 06, 2019
    Show notes

Broncos players are back at UCHealth Training Center, and Andrew Mason and Ryan Edwards are here to break down the first week. First, they look at the culture Fangio wants to establish and why what Bradley Chubb said about "writing stuff down" in meetings is one of the first steps necessary (4:50). Later, they discuss how Courtland Sutton's rookie production bodes well for his goal of becoming a WR1 (16:30). Then, in a conversation from Orange and Blue 760, they catch up with Kansas State OL Dalton Risner (36:38), who discusses his pre-draft visit with the Broncos, which he called a "dream come true." Risner also shared what he gleaned from his meeting with offensive-line coaches Mike Munchak and Chris Kuper. "I just felt like I could play for those guys," Risner said. "I just felt like I fit right in."

Horsin' Around: What do the rules changes mean? Mar 31, 2019
    Show notes

So now pass interference calls are challengeable via the NFL's replay system -- and a challenge can turn a non-call into a penalty. What are the short- and long-term implications? Andrew Mason and Broncos' TV's Phil Milani discuss this, including the impact on game management in how teams use their timeouts. Then, Fox Sports' football rules analyst Dean Blandino joins Mase, Steve Atwater and Ryan Edwards in a conversation from Orange and Blue 760 to discuss the changes -- and the Broncos' failed proposal to offer an alternative to on-side kickoffs in the fourth quarter.
