PSA on coins Email from Jeremy — Good morning Bill, I wanted to share a quick tip with everyone if they were not aware. Last night I got Xenoblade 2 amazing game I popped in the game and I pressed start on the icon to see if their was any additional updates and noticed the gold points were on there I pressed earn points and Nintendo gave me 60 points for the physical copy so I grabbed all my physical games and it worked in a matter of two minutes I racked up seven bucks not bad especially if you have tons of physical games FYI Zelda was the only one that did not work. Sorry for the long email. Like always best podcast around. Jeremy in Portland.

Email from iReallyShouldBeWorking! — Hey, RJS. Longtime Lurker, first time writing in. Love the show. Thank you for all you do. I love the Switch. I think the portability factor is perfect for indies, but many indies today are often $20 to $30 each. Here's an idea for your viewers with access to an Xbox One. Microsoft offers a 14 day free trial to Game Pass, and it offers access to many games, including several indies new to the Switch. I was able to join Game Pass on a free trial, and try out The Final Station and Rime, both games I'm interested in for Switch but was weary of paying $20 or $30 upfront without being sure I'd enjoy them. If you have an Xbox One, it's s a great opportunity to try before you buy. Thanks so much, iReallyShouldBeWorking!

Email from Rock Roberge — Hey RJS, Just a quick note to anyone playing Rocket League on Switch. Version 1.04 was released today, and it does NOT fix the notorious crash issue introduced by 1.03 on Switch. I've spent hours working with Psyonix support to test, capture, and help to identify the issue, so it was pretty disappointing to find no relief with today's update. Anyway, please encourage your listeners to open a ticket with Psyonix if Rocket League is crashing on their switch (link below). This is related to loot crate items (Victory crates) introduced about a month ago... the more of these you have in your inventory, the higher the crash frequency (especially if you have any of these items equipped in your presets). https://oauth.rocketleague.com/?brand_id=1679428&locale_id=1&return_to=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.rocketleague.com%2Fhc%2Fen-us%2Fsignin&timestamp=1520285910 Thanks much, and all the best!

Luigi's Ballon World is here! — A free update for #SuperMarioOdyssey that adds Luigi’s Balloon World, the new minigame available after finishing the main story, is now available! Share codes, you get coins if people try to find your balloon. X means that someone has popped your balloon. 14,000 coins for the new outfits, which seems really bad, but you get loads of coins from people looking for your balloon, I don't think it will take long. Grinding coins in Bowser's kingdom is a thing of the past I think. There are some that are speculating that you can hide balloons inside a building or an object. I haven't come across that yet, but this might be an issue. I'll let you know if I hear anything different.

Fire Emblem Heroes made 5x as much money as Super Mario Run — The more predatory motorization model wins out. Consumers are their own worst enemies. Mikey in the Discord said "I’m ready to defend fe heroes. The only top tier hero I’m missing is brave lyn, and I’ve spent 0 dollars. I like it significantly more than super Mario run as a game. If you ever really play it, they’re actually very generous with orbs. So I guess all I’m saying is monetization model hasn’t affected me hardly at all and I think fe:heroes is a deeper game with WAY more content than super Mario run. The story does suck though. I don’t even read it anymore. I just click through it and enjoy more FE lite." What Model will we get for Mario Kart Tour?

#SaveOurSaves — I appeal to you and all other Nintendo podcasts to increase the amount of vocal, widespread coverage you give to the issue in an attempt to increase the pressure on Nintendo so that they prioritize this to the degree it needs. In 2018 there is ZERO excuse for the lack of this feature. Users should also be emailing, calling and Tweeting Nintendo as well about this, but those in the media are in a unique position of wide influence so please do what you can. Thanks
