E3 2018 has GameStop “looking forward to an incredible Q4” | GamesIndustry.biz — "I'm looking forward to an incredible Q4," he says. "You're kicking off with Call of Duty and going into Red Dead Redemption 2, then you have NBA and Assassin's Creed and Battlefield and then you're going all the way through December when you're ending up with Smash Bros and you've got Pokémon and Fallout 76 in November - that's a powerful holiday line-up." Nintendo, in particular, has benefitted from E3 2018 when it comes to grabbing the attention of GameStop customers, as Bright informs us that Switch sales doubled over the course of the week in the wake of the Smash Bros deep dive, plus ongoing enthusiasm for Pokémon. "Nothing beats Nintendo's overall announcements," he says. "Super Smash Bros is jumping right up to the top of the [pre-order] list. We're also seeing great reaction from Pokémon Let's Go, both SKUs, and then of course people are trying to get their hands on the Pokéball [controller] as well.

Thanks for the review! — Klinger FPV gave the show 5 stars - I've started listening around episode 170, after desperately searching for quality Nintendo podcasts that could keep me up to date on the latest news and also be entertaining to listen to. The frequency of releases is incredible and I always have content to listen to. I can't emphasize enough how much I love the show, and was shocked when I realized how relatively small your following is. You'll blow up in the future for sure, thanks for all the awesome work you do! (Super excited for the Mario Tennis Aces tournament and If I hear you read this on the show I'll die)

Japanese Nintendo ー Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Wii U and Mobile. — This is Shuntaro Furukawa who has been appointed as the President in June 2018. Nintendo’s basic strategy is “Enlargement of population that gets into contact with Nintendo IPs”. I’d like to improve the corporate’s values by having even more people get into contact with characters and game world settings created by Nintendo. At the same time as an entertainment corporate, Nintendo puts up a CSR policy of “Making everybody related to Nintendo smile”. I think the social responsibility we must fulfill is to expand the circle of smile in society with Nintendo’s products and services. Based on the CSR policy of “Making everybody related to Nintendo smile”, Nintendo is always continuing the challenge to produce new surprises.

Hey all, I'm Bill, I love to talk about video games. I've been playing games since my mother used to take me to visit my grandmother at the bar she worked at (I know) and there was a Donkey Kong game there. From minute one I was hooked. I talk about all types of games, from retro classics to brand new hotness. I'm happy you decided to come by,Each week I take a deep dive into my favorite stories about Nintendo, from the latest indie release to rumors about Smash. If you're looking for Nintendo news look no farther. I try to wrap up the news three times a week in a show that I try to keep under 30 minutes.

Japanese Nintendo ー Nintendo Switch, 3DS, Wii U and Mobile. — Dengeki Online spoke with OCTOPATH TRAVELER Producer Masashi Takahashi, who told them that no DLC is scheduled for the game and that “The product version is the finished product.”
Where was the 3DS? — “We're going to continue [focusing on the 3DS], we're going to continue to have some new games on that platform. We're going to announce [them], and we will over the next number of months, but it's going to continue to be a vibrant piece of our overall business, certainly here in the Americas,” “Depending on the game, E3 could or could not be a place to shed light on mobile activity. In the case of Mario Kart Tour, we made the decision that there's going to be another opportunity to shed more light on that app, especially shedding light when it's closer to its launch,” Fils-Aime said. “We continue to be on track to launch it in this current fiscal year for Nintendo.” My guess is at Apple's fall event.

Reggie Fils-Aime talks backlash from their E3 presentation, Nintendo Switch Online in September, future of the 3DS and Switch, Lootboxes, and eSports. : NintendoSwitch — E3: “We show content that is going to launch in the next 6 to 9 months and no more. We always have surprises… there’s a lot more we have to show in the weeks and months that are ahead.” Nintendo Switch Online: Is the network structure going to improve? “Absolutely… we’re learning the technical infrastructure… when we launch the game [Mario Tennis Aces] it’s going to perform, just like it did for Fortnite.” 3DS: Still thriving and growing. Not going anywhere. Lootboxes: “Lootboxes… a gameplay mechanic that offers consumers something to buy… can be interesting as long as that’s not the only way they can get the items. Some developers have made some mistakes. For us, it’s one of many mechanics we can use to drive ongoing engagement in the game. eSports: “We want to create content that makes professionals players to come together… create consistent rules and structure to encourage the community to go from there”
