Baseball heavy today as we discuss the firing of Mike Matheny. Doug was having drinks when word came down that Matheny was fired. Tim was surprised by the news. Doug doesn't think the problem with this team was Matheny. What was the final straw that led to the firing. Natty Nate joins the show. Most MLB Managers played in the Majors. Will Matheny get another managers job. Doug blames Hilary for the Cardinals bad play. Some sound from Matheny with Cusamano on KSDK. Mike has no regrets. Mike wants to manage again. Mike thanked Mr. Dewitt and Mo for the chance. No Ill feelings.

Time for Iggy's Drops of the Week. The Athletic and ESPN getting in on the Norris-Hicks story. Doug doesn't listen to the Cat Chat. Romie Rain will be hosting the AVN's this year. Cat flummoxed with getting his seat assignment on Southwest. 15 people waiting to be accepted to the Fan Page. Iggy doesn't miss bowling and has no desire to come out of retirement. Tim hopes Bryce Harper stays with the Nats so he can watch him fish. Tim gets an email from Babs Watson and wants the boy's to sing more.

Mark Saxon's article on Bud Norris and the headline is misleading. In many cases, the veterans are responsible to help the young players. I think we found a racist on the text line. Lucas not playing many drops. Texter's are really vile today. Now Lucas playing random drops. Everyone stares into their phone all day long. Are the guys on the Grind smarter than us.
