Clavicular's Arrest & the Manosphere Pipeline, Nolan Wells Autopsy Update & A Massachusetts Lesbian Bar's Very Public Implosion Sep 25, 2026
    Show notes

Bulwark senior reporter Will Sommer joins to break down Clavicular's arrest on sexual assault charges in Massachusetts: the pattern of escalating behavior, how he got kicked out of Sacred Heart University for giving unlicensed med spa treatments in the dorms, his connections to the Israeli mafia, his recent drug overdose, and what happens to the manosphere pipeline when red pill darlings are charged with rape. Then, the Nolan Wells autopsy: the official state report leaves the cause of death undetermined, documents two bruises on the back of his head, and finds no fluid in his airways. The Mississippi grand jury declined to bring charges, calling it consistent with drowning. Attorney Ben Crump and Colin Kaepernick, who funded the independent autopsy, are pushing for a civil case.

Then, The Last Ditch in Western Massachusetts, one of only a handful of remaining lesbian bars in the country, decided to make Saturday night mask-optional to stay financially afloat. The community meeting that followed, covered by the Boston Globe, revealed one owner’s clown school crashout, the remaining owner’s $50,000 of debt and sleeping in her car to keep the bar open, and a shakeup in the community.

Comedian Megan Gailey co-hosts today's show, fresh off her new special Live From My Driveway.

Then, Patrick Clancy and his new wife Rachel Danis went on 60 Minutes, and we dig into how 60 Minutes squeezed the juice from their interview, whether going public was a PR risk or a smart move, and why men move on so fast.

Hysteria host Erin Ryan joins to break down Trump's decision to ban MSNBC, CNN, and Politico from the White House press pool, why the press corps' decision not to send a replacement may be the media's best move yet, and what Natalie Harp's stranglehold on Trump tells us about who's really running the White House. Plus, Lauren Boebert's House Ethics Committee complaint alleging she slept with three staffers, and has anyone seen Susie Wiles?

Then, a recruiter on TikTok said Gen Z shouldn't bring iced coffee to job interviews, and the internet lost its mind. Meredith and Rebecca break down why they actually agree with her, why this is not the corporate hill to die on, and what they should actually be fighting for instead.

    Show notes

Patrick Clancy is doing a 60 Minutes interview with his new wife Rachel Danis, and Meredith, Rebecca, and Dr. Sarah breaks down what this means for the second trial, why going public now is a calculated move, and whether it will actually help Lindsay Clancy's case.

Robert Kraft banned Macklemore from Gillette Stadium for saying "Free Palestine" on the Ed Sheeran tour, and we get into why this is about censorship, Robert Kraft's documented relationship with Netanyahu, and why there’s more nuance to this conversation than the internet seems to find.

Then, Taylor Frankie Paul and the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast are back, and Dr. Sarah Oreck unpacks what happens when you grow up inside a high-control religion and suddenly have to deconstruct everything while cameras are rolling. Plus, do reality TV shows have a mental health responsibility to their cast?

Roxane Gay and the internet pushed back hard.

Then, the original mom influencer and Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham joins to talk about why she's running for Austin's District 5 city council seat, what constituents are actually telling her on the ground, what MTV financially owed her and never paid, and why she compares James Talarico to Righteous Gems' Baby Billy.

9/11 After 25 Years & One Year Since Charlie Kirk's Death, Hasan Piker on the RNC Jumbotron & The AI Apocalypse Warning Sep 11, 2026
    Show notes

It's the 25th anniversary of 9/11- Meredith, Rebecca, and Dr. Sarah Oreck talk about where they were, why Gen Z made Osama Bin Laden a folk hero, why we've never found a ritual for collective grief, and why Mayor Zohran Mamdani keeps getting used as a political football by 9/11 conspiracy theorists.

One year since Charlie Kirk's death: Erika Kirk wrote a grief essay for the New York Times with Usha Vance as the through line. Is there a Kirk documentary is coming? At the midterm RNC in Dallas, Republicans put a half-naked Hasan Piker on the jumbotron as enemy number one while Democrats simultaneously try to distance themselves from him. John Fetterman made a surprise video appearance. Grindr crashed in Dallas. Again.

Then, former Anthropic AI researcher Jacob Coxon resigned and went public: AI is racing toward self-improving superintelligence without safeguards, with a 10% chance AI kills humans within the next decade.

Alix Earle Addresses Alex Cooper, Polymarket's Lindsay Clancy Ad Backlash & Reddington's GMA Trump Pardon Ask + Gina Hinojosa on Texas Sep 09, 2026
    Show notes

Alix Earle finally addressed the Alex Cooper situation on her Netflix show, House of Earle, and Meredith and Rebecca think she's winning this feud. Then, podcaster Amanda Hirsch of Not Skinny But Not Fat posted a Polymarket ad using the Lindsay Clancy case as a hook. It got taken down fast and she sent an apology, but we get into why it was more calculated than a simple mistake. Plus, Kevin Reddington went on GMA and asked President Trump to pardon Lindsay Clancy. Meredith breaks down why Reddington knows it won’t work, but said it anyway.

Then, Texas gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa joins. She's in a virtual tie with Greg Abbott despite being outspent ten to one. She breaks down what Texans actually care about in 2026, why "women are dying" under Texas's abortion ban and Greg Abbott just delayed the maternal mortality numbers until after the election, what ICE raids are doing to mixed-status Latino families, and why Republicans' only shtick is culture wars that nobody has time for anymore.

Plus: the poll worker thirst trap debate, Nathan Fielder's Elizabeth Holmes documentary, and what's having a moment.

    Show notes

The Lindsay Clancy mistrial is official, and Meredith, Rebecca, and Dr. Sarah were live when it happened. They break down the jury deadlock, what a mistrial means legally, and why this outcome isn't surprising given the impossible weight this jury was carrying. First, remembering Gloria Steinem: what she built, what's still unfinished, and why our culture may not have space for a pure activist anymore. Then, the Met Gala has quietly dropped its plans to honor John Galliano, a man convicted of a hate crime in Paris for antisemitism, and whether the damage was already done the moment he was announced. Plus, Jeff Bezos donor backlash and what happens when your billionaire conflicts with your values.

    Show notes

The Lindsay Clancy jury is deliberating, and Meredith, Rebecca, and Dr. Sarah break down the closing arguments, why the prosecution had their strongest day of the entire trial, and why Kevin Reddington seemed off his game for the first time. Plus, the Andrea Yates case and the expert witness who testified she copied a Law & Order episode that never existed.

Then, attorney Katherine Loftus of NoteMyObjection, former Boston prosecutor turned criminal defense attorney, joins to explain what the jury is actually looking at, why Judge Sullivan added manslaughter as an option, what a manslaughter sentence could look like, and why the Patrick Clancy conspiracy theories will go nowhere legally. Plus, why Massachusetts keeps producing high-profile trials, and whether the Lindsay Clancy case should have been livestreamed at all.

Meta has agreed to pay $18 billion to settle claims from 48 states that Facebook and Instagram deliberately designed addictive features to harm children, and Dr. Sarah Oreck says this is the tobacco moment for social media.

Then, remembering Dolly Parton and Tim Curry: two icons who changed everything, and why our culture may not have the space to produce another Dolly Parton.

Male WNBA "Advocates" Miss the Point, Indiana Residents In The Dark & Dr. Annie Andrews on Why SC Needs a Pediatrician in the Senate Aug 26, 2026
    Show notes

Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected from a WNBA game for getting into a confrontation about trans athletes and Meredith and guest co-host Lisandra Vazquez break it down. They get into the fact that there are no trans women playing in the WNBA, why this is a manufactured issue, and what male "advocates" are actually missing about the real challenges facing women in sports. Then, Hayden Panettiere's mother has been making statements about her daughter's passing, and they're getting weird.

Gary, Indiana has been without power for two weeks. Memphis is also in the dark, with 70,000 children missing school meals. We’re connecting the dots on which communities get left behind when the grid fails.

Then, South Carolina pediatrician and Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews joins on the day of the Republican runoff to make the case for why medicine belongs in politics: Trump's new childhood vaccine executive order is not based on science, Medicaid is about to be gutted, RFK Jr. is leading HHS, and South Carolina just had a measles outbreak. She'd be the first pediatrician ever elected to the US Senate.
