State Fair Secrets, Corny Dogs, & the Mom Behind SSYS Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

BONUS TMG! We’re back with two amazing moms who are building big things — and doing it their own way. First, Mallory Fitzsimmons, founder of viral fashion brand SSYS, joins us to share how she went from starting a business at home during COVID to building a full-scale fashion brand designed with moms like us in mind. We talk entrepreneurship, motherhood, taking risks and why Mallory was determined to build SSYS differently.

Then… is that corny dogs we smell?! Karissa Condoianis, SVP of Public Relations for the State Fair of Texas, takes us behind the scenes of one of the biggest and most beloved events in Texas. We talk about what it takes to pull off the State Fair every year, the food we absolutely need to try, and the fair hacks every mom should know before heading to Fair Park. Fashion, food, motherhood and a whole lot of Texas — welcome to your bonus dose of The Mom Game!

Mom Dreams, Football Season & an Unfortunate Surgery Sep 10, 2026
    Show notes

The kids are back in school — which naturally means THEY’RE SICK AGAIN. Julie is dealing with the back-to-school germs while Emily has some thoughts on those club volleyball schedules.

We’re also pranking our kids with British accents before asking a surprisingly big question: Are moms so busy managing everyone else’s lives that we don’t have time to dream about our own anymore? When you’re juggling kids, work, sports, schedules and everything else, when do you stop and think about what YOU want next?

Plus, college football is SO back, the NFL season is here, and the Rangers continue to middle.

Then, What’s On Your Feed brings us Kim Kardashian’s baseball reality show and the tragic story of an influencer who died following a penis enlargement procedure. And finally, the TMG News Desk reveals the most searched slang words in Texas in 2026.

Wine, queso, sports, mom dreams and questionable internet stories. Basically, a normal day at The Mom Game.

Midlife Meltdowns, Making History & What Dolly Taught Us Sep 03, 2026
    Show notes

MLB broadcaster Jenny Cavnar — a trailblazer who made history as the first woman to serve as a primary play-by-play voice for a Major League Baseball team — joins us as guest co-host this week, and we’ve got a LOT to discuss. Julie has a new cast, husbands continue to prove they are wired completely differently than women, and we commiserate about trying to parent, work and somehow “balance” it all.

Then, Emily is having a bit of a midlife meltdown as she faces the reality of a Rangers-less life. What are we doing? Where are we going? And is everyone else questioning their entire existence at this age too?!

In Sports Skorts, college football is BACK, we’re somehow getting sucked back into the Cowboys, and the NFL WAG content is already delivering. Jenny also gives us her perspective on the changing TV landscape in sports, what’s happening in the AL West and what it’s like continuing to blaze a trail for women in sports broadcasting.

Then we meet 49ers wide DEceiver “Dajeon Love” (giant eye roll) before taking some time to remember Dolly Parton — not just for the incredible woman she was, but for what her life can teach us about kindness, confidence, business and staying true to yourself.

And because this is still The Mom Game, we somehow end up at… The Fart Station.

A little midlife crisis, a little inspiration, and a lot of nonsense. Just the way we like it.

Prince Fielder! and the Queso Crow Aug 27, 2026
    Show notes

It’s Prince!! Former Texas Ranger and MLB All-Star Prince Fielder joins The Mom Game, and we’re talking a whole lot more than baseball.

But first — Julie is officially on the IL with a broken wrist, Emily is finding her thrill in cleaning, and somehow we have a Sports Skorts story involving a 49ers owner and a trailer park prostitute. Just a normal week around here! Plus, a Cowboys rookie has us feeling inspired, the Rangers remain aggressively middling, and CeeDee Lamb gets robbed.

Then Prince Fielder joins the show! Prince tells us what life after baseball looks like (spoiler: there’s a surprising amount of tennis), what it’s like coaching kids when you played the game at the highest level, and how his perspective on parenting has changed over the years.

We get into raising kids around baseball, parenting while traveling as a professional athlete, how youth sports have changed since Prince was coming up, and the advice he has for both kids who dream of playing baseball AND their parents.

And since Emily and Prince go back to his Texas Rangers days, we obviously must revisit the clubhouse prank wars, a few embarrassing stories, and what Prince remembers most about his time in Texas.

Baseball, parenting, tennis, broken wrists and trailer park prostitutes. A little something for everyone.

Thank you as always to our amazing sponsors for making this week's show possible!

Middle Aged and Out of F’s Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

Is the secret to surviving middle age simply surrounding yourself with people who don’t give an F? Because Julie and Emily may have cracked the code.

This week on The Mom Game, we’re talking about why being middle aged kinda sucks, Emily has BEEF with Netflix profiles, Julie has an allergic eye situation, and Ryder has officially gone motorized. What could possibly go wrong?!

In Sports Skorts, Von Miller is a Dallas Cowboy, the Mavs and Stars may have finally made up, and the Rangers have found themselves back in painfully familiar .500 territory.

Plus — 7U ELITE TRAVEL BALL?! C’mon, man. The Youth Sports train is completely out of control and while it’s sadly normal- we still need to vent.

We also take a more serious turn to reflect on the heartbreaking death of Hayden Panettiere at just 36 years old, her life and career, and why the news hit us so hard. And apparently some married couples swear that living in separate homes is the key to staying happily married. Are they onto something?

Then Sarah Duggan, VP of Marketing at American Home Shield/Frontdoor Inc., joins us to talk about balancing a big career with mom life, what a home warranty actually does, and the moments when AHS can seriously save the day.

Middle age, marriage, motherhood, sports, and broken appliances. Basically, we cover it all.

Back to School & a Group Text Intervention Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

TMG Therapy is back in session! It’s Day 2 of school and Emily is… wait for it… already on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Why are there SO MANY group chats, apps, emails, hearts, likes, notifications, and ridiculous questions?! We’re talking through all the back-to-school madness, mom anxiety, and how to keep the chaos from taking over. Hint: maybe focus on the kids and step away from the texts.

Then, just when we thought parenting couldn’t get more awkward… PUBERTY. What are we supposed to do with this?! We have no idea, but we promise to make you laugh—and hopefully feel a little better—about this very weird stage of parenting.

Plus, are millennials really abandoning their boomer parents? And in an unexpected plot twist… we’re talking about how much we love reading books.

Back to school, group text intervention, puberty and generational drama. TMG Therapy is officially in session.

Summer Lovin', Happened So Fast Aug 06, 2026
    Show notes

Welp, time to wipe the dust off those alarm clocks as summer is nearing its end and we are actually… kind of sad? But before we start school- a couple last minute trips!

Has Emily mastered the art of traveling with kids? And what do our families do when law enforcement is asking questions on a highway or at the border? Hint: They embarrass us.

Plus- serious family business to attend to as Henry McCoy has gotten his driver’s permit… and Emily is his driving instructor. Pray for everyone involved.

In sports, Dak has his shirts and sights set on a Super Bowl, the Rangers are struggly again and on the other side of the trade deadline, and Romo is being replaced by JJ Watt?

Also- what is this about majoring in influencing at college? And do kids even need college anymore?

Then- we are joined by the owner of Dallas Water Doctor, Zack Plunkett- who reveals what’s really in that Dallas tap water that we’re drinking. (cringe face)

All that and more on this week's episode! Thank you as always to our amazing sponsors:

Julie’s Back, Romo’s Mess & Navigating Grief with Ryanne Saucier Jul 30, 2026
    Show notes

Julie is back from Canada, Jasmine is filling in while Emily celebrates her niece's wedding, and there's plenty to catch up on!

Julie shares some observations from north of the border that have her questioning whether Americans should be composting more, taking our shoes off at the door, and maybe slowing down just a bit. Plus, being in Canada during the latest tariff headlines made for some interesting conversations.

In Sports Skorts, the ladies discuss Tony Romo's rough week (bless his heart), Jason Robertson's back with the Stars for now, and Cowboys training camp is back too - are we feeling yeh or meh?

Then, we're joined by Ryanne Saucier, Vice President of Legal Affairs for FOX Television Stations and host of the How Do I Do This? podcast. After unexpectedly losing her mother, Ryanne felt called to help others navigate life's biggest changes with honesty, compassion, and practical advice. Whether you're balancing work and family, walking through grief, or simply trying to figure out life one day at a time, this conversation is one you won't want to miss.
