2021 John Deere Classic best bets and DFS breakdown with Kenny Kim Jul 06, 2021

Show notes

Congrats to anyone who followed Stephen Hennessey’s advice last week on Cam Davis, cashing a 100-1 outright ticket at the Rocket Mortgage. The “Be Right” boys threw only a couple bets last week—and miraculously, they had all three players in the three-man playoff in Detroit. Unfortunately, that led to some hurt feelings … as you’ll hear our Christopher Powers lament some smack talking from his fellow co-host.

We’ll look to make it back to back with Kenny Kim, host of the Fantasy Golf Degenerates podcast, now part of Mayo Media Network. Kenny is one of the most respected DFS writers in the industry with his contributions to Gup’s Corner—see who he’s playing this week at the John Deere Classic.

2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic preview, plus a chat with John Smoltz ahead of the American Century Jun 29, 2021

Show notes

We’re joined by John Smoltz, MLB legend and one of the most avid golfers you’ll ever get the chance to talk to, on this week’s episode. Smoltz has been competing in a bunch of senior tour events this season—so we talked to him about his golf game ahead of the upcoming American Century; planning trips to top-100 courses with his teammates while he was pitching; and playing Augusta National with Tiger Woods.

Of course, we also preview the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic on this week’s episode—giving a few best bets ahead of what will probably be another Bryson DeChambeau win. Have a listen.
