Carson LaCava (Beggar) (S. 2: Ep. 44) Sep 28, 2018

Show notes

A conversation with Carson LaCava of Beggar. Carson is a fresh-faced singer-songwriter that has a relatable story. He's just a kid who is trying to make it. I feel like a lot of people could see themselves in him. My band Overwatcher had the privilege to play Beggar's release show for My Home is a Candle, Dimly Lit at that 70's house earlier this year. Idle Threat. (S. 2: Ep. 41) Aug 17, 2018

Show notes

A conversation with Nashville screamo trio, Idle Threat. They call themselves "the last of a dying breed" because of their sound that reminds me of the best of early 2000's screamo, but I'd say their new single Empty House is one of the best jams of the year. I was excited to get to talk to them about their next moves along with their own fest in Smyrna, TN called THREATFEST (featuring The Local Wave alum, Loyals and Lonleyouth). Check out their new single, Empty House, out now! Follow us on social media @thelocalwave Become a patreon supporter at Patreon.com/thelocalwave BE A FAN OF YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
