    The Live Snap Love Show

Welcome to The Live Snap Love Show, where every episode is a thoughtful mix of inspiration, insight, and practical tools for taking your family and lifestyle photos to the next level.

I’m Audrey Ann — photographer, educator, and founder of Live Snap Love — and in each episode, I’m pulling from 17+ years behind the camera (and over a decade of teaching thousands of students) to help you create photos you’re genuinely proud of.

From getting comfy with manual mode to finding your signature style, we’ll dig into the techniques, mindset shifts, and creative approaches that can help you feel more confident and artistic behind the lens.

So whether you’re documenting everyday life, capturing those little in-between moments, or building a photography business, think of this podcast as your go-to toolkit for building your skills, staying inspired, and making the whole process feel a lot more fun (and a heck of lot less overwhelming!).

    My 2025 Photography Goals Jan 21, 2025
    Show notes

In this episode, I'm sharing with you the 4 simple things that I'm going to be focusing on with my photography in 2025.

I'm sharing what my goals are, and why I've decided to focus on these 4 things to help grow my photography skills and (hopefully!) get out of a creative rut.

Of course, I don't expect you to have the same goals as me, so I'll also share some ideas of how you can adapt this to different stages of your photography journey, or different types of photography.

    In this episode we discuss:

    • My photography plans for 2025

    • Why I'm focusing on a Project 365 again this year (even though I've failed the last three years)

    • Why a Project 365 is good for photographers of all levels

    • The lens that I bought that I'm going to try to get to grips with in 2025 (and what you can do if you don't have the funds for a new lens)

    • How printing my photos can help you when it comes to editing your photos, and seeing how to improve

    • And more!

    Show notes

In this episode, I'm talking with an incredible photographer, Pam McIntyre, who was actually a student of Live Snap Love many years ago, but has gone on to do amazing work in all different genres.

The story of her photography journey is an interesting one - she had a highly technical job in a male dominated industry, and took up photography as a way of having a creative outlet.

She then recently retired, and worried that her life would lack focus and purpose, so she started a blog, and has been sharing her work and journey through the process of retirement there, along with sharing her fabulous photos.

Here we talk about her personal journey and the importance of finding purpose after retirement, how she stays creative, what things helped her grow the most, starting a blog, photographing birds and landscapes, her gear and so much more!

Here's just a few things we cover:

    • Why Pam was worried about losing purpose after retirement, and what she did to overcome it

    • What her biggest game changer in photography was…..and what wasted her time.

    • The type of photography she started with, and what she focuses on now

    • Her favorite lenses for bird photography and landscape photography

    • How she is using photography as a way for mindful thinking
