    Latest Episodes:
Episode 46 - Grand Kingdom, White Wolf, and the Soothing Sounds of the Rain Jan 25, 2017
    Show notes

Shaun and Jonathan open a new radio station, with 100% rain-focused content. Join them as they go on about Playdead's new teaser image, hopefully titled "Outside". Excitement for Resident Evil 7, Nioh, Logan's new trailer, XCOM 2 The Long War out on PC, and Paradox's acquisition of White Wolf Publishing, leading to their announcement of Werewolf The Apocalypse! Lastly, Grand Kingdom is lovingly spoken of, initial impressions of Rise of the Tomb Raider, For Honor's next beta, and holy shit does Conan Exiles look awesome. They'll have to do a longer episode delving into that more. All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and are not representative of the companies they work for.

    Episode 45 - Nintendo Switch, and Top 10 Lists! Jan 18, 2017
    Show notes

Shaun and Jonathan regurgitate the finer points of Nintendo's Switch announcements, in all of their (possible) glory! Bask in Shaun's genuine disinterest! BASK I SAY! Also hear a bit about Mario, Zelda, a new Super Bomberman (!!) and maybe, if we're super lucky, a new Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem! This week's lineup may or may not include a funky game called NERO, a bit more Sherlock, some OG Baldur's Gate 1, Halcyon 6, and a dash of new Twin Peaks! Last but not least, we add our own 'Top 10 Games of 2016' lists to the ever-expanding pile, due to our frustration with other lists and publications. To each their own, we suppose! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and are not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 44 - Mark Hamill, Sherlock Holmes, and Shaun's Rick & Morty Commercial Voice! Jan 11, 2017
    Show notes

Shaun and a still sick Jonathan talk about Mark Hamill's foray into political voice-over work, while Shaun practices his own voice-over stylings! This week's lineup includes Jonathan's jump into Sherlock Homles: The Devil's Daughter, the movie Arrival, Polygon's best of 2016 list, XCOM 2's "Long War" mod by Pavonis Interactive, new Mass Effect: Andromeda news and the internet's backlash, plus assorted odds and ends that you'd expect us to tangent in and around! Welcome to Erf! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 43 - Deathwing, We Happy Few, and the Sweet Fruits of Cooperation! Jan 04, 2017
    Show notes

Shaun and a woefully sick Jonathan discuss whether Sinbad ever was in the movie, Shazam, the merits of Brak and Zorak on Space Ghost, and numerous, numerous games. This week's lineup includes the visual and gameplay alterations of Gwent, the abysmal multiplayer (but rad single player) of Space Hulk: Deathwing, the joys of Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide (which may have the most extra characters in a game title ever), the feeble A Bird Story, isometric horror of STASIS, the beautiful dystopia of We Happy Few, and the surprise demo of the week for Nier: Automata! Welcome to 2017! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

    Episode 42 - Rogue One, Blade Runner, and 2016! Dec 28, 2016
    Show notes

Shaun and Jon return from a brief holiday break, and are completely frazzled by actually having time off! This week they gab about Rogue One, complete with spoilers, a host of new movie trailers including Blade Runner 2049, Dunkirk, Alien Covenant, and the terrible nature of seeing movies in 3D. But they don't forget about gaming, with more BDO, NEO Scavenger, Vermintide, and some wonderful shows including The Night Of. Thank you all for joining us for the last episode of 2016! Oh, and they talk about the host of celebrities lost to 2016, and the probable end of the world. YAY! All opinions expressed are those of their show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

    Episode 41 - Holiday Special, plus Q&A! Dec 14, 2016
    Show notes

This week Shaun and Jon answer questions from the audience, and get lost on many tangents along the way! What do they discuss? Well, you'll just have to listen and find out. But they fall more on the naughty than nice list. Enjoy the show, and your holiday! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 40 - Aztec Gods, Game Awards 2016, And A Dip In Final Fantasy Dec 07, 2016
    Show notes

This week the guys talk about a TON of trailers, games and movies included. Prepare yourselves for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Passengers, some office murder battle-royale knock off Shaun can't remember the name of, Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Mass Effect Andromeda, and a few odds and ends. This week was Game Awards 2016, and boy were they cringe worthy. There are plenty of surprise announcements, and reminiscing of games gone by. Uncharted has already announced a new game, after ending the series, called Lost Legacy. All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 39 - Escape Rooms, Legend of Grimrock, and Hostile Takeovers! Nov 30, 2016
    Show notes

Prepare yourselves for greatness, as the guys talk about The Scene OC's latest Escape Room, the incredible directing of Alejandro Gonzalex Inarritu's The Revenant, animals of Zootopia, and all things tangential to conversation! In the news, we find No Man's Sky gaining its first "Foundation Update," adding new game modes, base building, farming, camp construction, purchase of freighter ships, new resources and technology, better UI, graphical improvements, and a whole bevy of patch notes to dive through. Vivendi attempts a hostile takeover of Ubisoft, and Ubisoft's higher-ups are appealing to shareholders to let them remain autonomous. Jon finished Orwell, and cannot say how fantastic of a game it is. He highly recommends it, as it directly deals with freedom of speech, and protection from unreasonable search of information (1st and 4th amendment rights, yo!) He also babbles about the greatness of Legend Of Grimrock 2, and the beauty of The Unfinished Swan. Go play those too. And that's it! Go listen and be sated!! And go buy Jon's board game. All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 38 - Twitch, PS VR, News, And A New Mortal Kombat Movie?! Nov 23, 2016
    Show notes

The audio is back to working order again! Shaun and Jon discuss more of 7 Days To Die and Tyranny, plus Jon's delving into PS VR titles. Playstation finally gets mod support for Bethesda games, and Fallout New Vegas has a new, fan-made mod called The Frontier! There's a Mortal Kombat movie in the works, which takes the guys down a rabbit hole of excess violence in recent MK games, and the hyper-violence of Manhunt. Jon is looking forward to playing The Unfinished Swan, and a curious "Alice in Wonderland" style game called Blackwood Crossing, which is being compared to Firewatch, Gone Home, and Dear Esther. Plus Conan O'Brien plays Final Fantasy 15, which is one the greatest things we've seen, ever! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.

Episode 37 - 7 Days to Die, Tyranny, and Technical Difficulties! Nov 16, 2016
    Show notes

First off Shaun messed up the whole recording so it's not top quality this week but he swears he will do a better job next time! Otherwise this week the guys go over super awesome new game Tyranny by Obsidian. Shaun and Jon jump into a multiplayer session of 7 Days To Die and have a cracking good time! Staying on the Survival Horror kick we discuss some potential spook fests with Allison Road, Friday the 13th The Game, Outlast 2 (because reasons), Perception and Routine. Lastly the guys tackle Jon's views on the new Doctor Strange movie and also some of the rad trailers that showed up before it! Enjoy! All opinions expressed are those of the show hosts, and not representative of the companies they work for.
