#167 - How to Make the Perfect Playlist Jul 20, 2020
    Show notes

Did y’all know I really dig playlists? Like so much. And I’ve been told, especially after my holiday playlists last year and my quarantine groove playlist this summer, that I’m really good at them. I will agree with you. This is not a space I choose to be overly humble. I learned from the best.

    Helpful Companion Links

    • Playlists I’m proud of: nine curated Christmas playlists plus my Quarantine Groove list for the summer.
    • My sister Hannah makes seasonal playlists for our patrons over on our Patreon show The Lazy Sisters.
    • My buddy Bri McKoy is also a bomb playlist maker. Check her out on Instagram.

Vacations definitely look different this summer than they usually do, but trips aren’t just vacations. You’ll go see grandma, you might travel a state or two over when the holidays come soon. #164 - The Summer Meal Formula Jun 29, 2020
    Show notes

I’m not saying I fixed summer cooking because that would be stupid, but I think I found an approach that will be pretty awesome, especially if you’re three weeks into hot weather no school everyone home cooking and losing your mind a little.

    Stuff Mentioned

#163 - The Magic of Daily Sheets Jun 22, 2020
    Show notes

Summer is a season of relaxation, of later bedtimes and loungy days, but we’ve also kind of already been in a weird season of pseudo-relaxation and later bedtimes and loungy days because of COVID-19. It’s safe to say that easing into summer rhythms is a little complicated right now.

    Helpful Companion Links

    • I first mentioned Daily Sheets in How to Lazy Genius Kid Chores (episode 117) and I misspoke in the episode by calling it The Lazy Genius Plans a Day. It’s really The Lazy Genius Weekly Plan.
    • Preorder your copy of The Lazy Genius Way out August 11, 2020 (and get fun preorder bonuses!).

    #162 - A Peek Inside The Lazy Genius Way Jun 15, 2020
    Show notes

This is a very exciting and surreal episode for me to share because in case you didn’t know I wrote a book, and today is the first real day that I’m going to tell you about what is inside! On August 11th, you’ll get to read those words if you want, and in this episode I’ll actually share a couple of ways you can read those words sooner, but for now, I’m going to tell you why I decided to write a book, what my writing rhythm was when I was writing it, how I wrote 60,000 words that were never used, what kept me from quitting because I almost did a couple of times, and what’s inside the book.
