Bonus: Your Holiday Horror Stories Dec 23, 2021
    Show notes

A few weeks ago, I posted on Instagram asking for your holiday horror stories. You know, that time you tried to be either super lazy or super genius during the holidays. Here’s a collection of stories for solidarity and encouragement right before the holidays.Oh, and for me, it was the time I had a few friends over for a holiday party, and I thought one was supposed to make a cheese tray for this kind of party. So I placed Saltines and folded pieces of actual American cheese on a platter and thought I was Martha Stewart. You guys. YOU GUYS.Helpful Companion Links - Missing out on the Instagram party? #240 - How to Plan a Personal Retreat Dec 13, 2021
    Show notes

When I sent out December’s Latest Lazy Letter, I mentioned taking a personal retreat day the week between Christmas and the New Year, and a woman named Rebecca wrote back asking me to explain it. Like, what do you do? How do you plan it? Where do you go? And I realized that I had never really talked about this before. So let’s talk about how to plan a personal retreat.

#238 - How to Get Stuff Done When You Don’t Feel Like It Nov 29, 2021
    Show notes

The number of times I have to do stuff I don’t want to do is a very high number, and it’s part of life. I think it’s important to name what we can be a genius about and what we can be lazy about, but there are things we have to do that we don’t love doing. So how do we do that while still being Lazy Geniuses? That’s what this episode is all about, and we’re going to make it as linear as possible.

    Lazy Genius of the Week

Angela Kidde Taylor, who shared this tip in the Lazy Genius Facebook group:

After a taco night, I dump all the bits and pieces of leftovers into a taco soup bag for the freezer. When I’m ready for soup, I empty the contents of the bag as a starter. It saves time and the leftovers aren’t wasted.
