On today's show we explore the rumor of Coleman Domingo possible taking over the roleof Kang in the MCU. Jonathan Majors played the role and was let go by Marvel. Now the Walking Dead, Color Purple star is said to be taking over. Is it a good choice? Speaking of Marvel, Echo comes out very soon. The critics were sent the screeners and the embargo lifts a day or two before release. Worry some? Staying with Echo, the events of the Netflix series Daredevil is apparently canon and the new teaser with Kingpin's origins seem to lock that down. Steven Yeun excited The Thunderbolts as The Sentry. Originally the report seemed to suggest it was scheduling. A new response by Yeun might hint otherwise? Join Kristian Harloff, Winston A. Will Star Wars fans embrace the new Rey Skywalker film? Jan 04, 2024

Show notes

PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/TheBigThingShow

The new Star Wars movie is slated to come out in May 2026. There are big hope and need for Disney that Star Wars succeeds. There are approaches that Lucas Film has taken that some people might agree with and others don't. The Director of the new Rey Skywalker film Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy says that she will be the first female crafting a Star Wars story. A lot of people have embraced the comments and a lot of people have pushed back on the comments. How should LucasFilm approach the new movie? Should they stay the course and do exactly what they're doing or should they change their marketing strategy? Also, speaking of Star Wars, a fan made a Clone Wars style animation of the battle of heroes from revenge of the Sith. We give our thoughts on what we thought. Stephen Yoon from walking dead fame has left the marvels property the expendables or whatever it's called. Is this a big deal? Is it simply scheduling? Join us today on the show as Kristian Harloff and Steph Sabraw discuss this and more on the big thing!
