Marvel's Kang Dynasty Script LEAKED?! Was SCRAPPING The Right Choice? Mar 31, 2025

Show notes

The MCU is once again in the spotlight as major Avengers: The Kang Dynasty leaks have surfaced online—and we're diving into everything we've learned. On today's episode of The Kristian Harloff Show, we break down the original plan for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, its evolution into Avengers: Doomsday, and what it all means for Marvel Phase 5, Secret Wars, and the future of the Multiverse Saga. Marvel Studios seems to have scrapped Kang as the main villain in favor of Doctor Doom—and for good reason. After Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania flopped and Jonathan Majors' legal issues became a major concern, insiders say the studio lost faith in the Council of Kangs storyline. Now, with Stephen McFeely rewriting both Avengers 5 and Secret Wars, and the Russo Brothers returning to direct, the entire direction has shifted. We're breaking down the leaked Kang Dynasty script that includes wild reveals like a Moon Knight team-up, Miles Morales' MCU debut, a Deadpool 3 crossover, and even a Spider-Man: No Way Home reunion. Plus, what role was Doctor Doom supposed to play before becoming the central threat in Avengers: Doomsday? And how does this affect the lead-in to Avengers: Secret Wars?

Coyote movie—starring Will Forte, John Cena, and Lana Condor, directed by Dave Green and written by Samy Burch—was shelved for tax reasons despite strong test screenings. But now it's getting a theatrical release in 2026, with Ketchup shelling out close to $50 million for the rights. Produced by James Gunn, this film has become symbolic of Hollywood's internal battles between artistry and cost-cutting.

Snow White Underperforms at the Box Office?! Was Online Backlash a factor? Mar 24, 2025

Show notes

Disney's live-action Snow White has officially hit theaters… but the numbers aren't exactly what the Mouse House was hoping for. Kristian Harloff and John Rocha are breaking it all down on today's show! Did the online controversy and social media backlash play a role in Snow White falling short of expectations? Was the movie's reception doomed from the start, or was it a case of audiences just not connecting with another remake? The guys discuss the latest reports showing Snow White pulling in just $43 million domestically and $44.3 million internationally, landing the film at an $87.3 million global total—far under the $65M domestic target. We'll talk about Deadline's comparison to Dumbo, the CinemaScore, and the film's polarizing reactions. Plus, did Rachel Zegler's casting really hurt or help in certain markets? And what about those claims that the film overperformed in conservative counties despite the "Snow Woke" criticism?

But that's not all! Kristian and Rocha also cover:

🦇 The Batman sequel update! Matt Reeves' follow-up is now officially listed as an "Untitled Batman Film" under the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre. Could this mean we're getting more fantastical elements in the BatVerse? Clayface? Mr. Freeze? We're speculating.

All this and more on The Kristian Harloff Show! Join the conversation in the comments and let us know what you think about Snow White, The Batman, and the MCU's next big moves.
