Hello and welcome to episode 102 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! We're joined today by a very special guest - former Nintendo employee, video game narrative designer and our friend Alexa Ray Corriea. We're going to have a chat with Alexa about what it's like inside Nintendo when the crushing pressure of the fan community just gets to be too much. We've all lived through this and we're pretty sure Nintendo is dealing with it right now with all speculation swirling around Switch 2. Alexa also shares what it means to be a narrative designer and writer for video games. We're all going to learn together. We also talk about games we are playing including Palworld. Yes, we are playing Palworld. In our news section we share our thoughts about the Xbox Developer Direct and some of the games they announced. We wrap it all up with a handful of questions from our wonderful Patreon subscribers.

Before that though, we have one last one for the books. Today, we'll be digging deeper into all the "Discourse" that's been happening around Eiji Aonuma's comments on the future of the Zelda series. Also in this episode, we talking about some of the games we've been playing over the holiday break. Hello and welcome to episode 97 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! Today we try to decide if 2023 is the best year for games ever. We certainly had a huge number of incredible games launch this year and we had more games than ever to play but does it beat out other iconic gaming years like 1996 when the Nintendo 64 launched? Or 1998 when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Metal Gear Solid came out. Let's take a deep dive and figure it out once and for all. We also had the amazing honor of having the producer of the Ace Attorney series - Kenichi Hashimoto answering hard hitting questions from our community. Also in this episode, we have a monster Games We're Playing section with Kit beating Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and Krysta checking out a new puzzle game that everyone is talking about, Chants of Sennaar. We talk about the final end of E3 and the cancellation The Last of Us Online. We wrap it all up with questions from our Patreon community. Big episode coming right up. Settle on in and get ready!

Hi, welcome to a special bonus Nintendo storytime. We wanted to share a special story about VGX. Not sure how many of you remember this but it's the 10 year anniversary of this truly bizarre event and if you don't know, this was the show that took place between the Spike TV Video Game Awards and Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards. It was an event that marked a transition for one of the biggest game industry events now and some really insane things took place that we were very closely involved with including a showdown between Reggie and Geoff Keighley. YIKES! We hope you enjoy this truly insane story. See you soon!
