    What I Learned in 2022 Dec 29, 2022
    Show notes

Living another year of life is no small thing - it’s a great privilege - so let’s not rush too quickly into the next year without first looking back to notice what we’ve learned and how we’ve grown.

“I will not squander my freedom by living timidly.” This is a phrase that was at the forefront of my mind as I began 2022. How did it turn out? In this episode, I reflect back on a pivotal year and what I learned about living more boldly this year, albeit imperfectly. I also highlight 4 specific things (among many) that I learned this year.

As usual, I share a gratefulness practice at the end and invite you to join me. LISTEN IN, and breathe in some fresh inspiration, right where you are.

Join me in this episode as I share about our Slow + Sacred Christmas Day, breaking down the day into morning, afternoon, and evening and about how the day can be both a time of drawing inward and also outward as you welcome others in community. I'm giving you ideas for a rustic, delicious Christmas dinner menu, too! No matter how or where you’ll be spending the day, I think you’ll find something helpful and inspiring in this episode!

As usual, I also share a gratefulness practice at the end and invite you to join me. LISTEN IN, and breathe in some fresh inspiration for the rest of your week.

None of us likes to suffer or be vulnerable, but these inevitable situations have a way of sharpening our senses and showing us the most simple of gifts with clear eyes. Taste and See Nov 22, 2022
    Show notes

If we never try - if we never take a taste - how will we ever know?

The more we taste a certain food, the more we get used to it, and sometimes we discover that we actually like it. It’s the same with life experiences. We can’t develop new, good habits, or step out and make the healthy changes that we need to make for ourselves or our families if we don’t just go for it and try it a few times. We have to develop a taste for something new. In this episode, recorded the week of Thanksgiving, I share some favorite foods and Thanksgiving memories from growing up near New York City, a story from a reader, and some ideas for how to find beauty outside our comfort zones this holiday season.

As usual, I also share a gratefulness practice at the end and invite you to join me. If you need a breath of fresh inspiration in your life today, listen in!
