Who is an American? The Birthright Citizenship Debate | The Kevin Roberts Show w/Larry O’Connor Apr 15, 2026

Show notes

Who gets to be an American? This week, Dr. Kevin Roberts and co-host Larry O'Connor break down one of the most important debates in America today: birthright citizenship.

With President Trump’s executive order challenging automatic citizenship for children born to non-citizens now before the Supreme Court, they explore the original meaning of the 14th Amendment, the rapid rise of birth tourism, its serious national security implications, and the striking statistic that nearly 10% of babies born in the U.S. are to foreign citizens.

They also examine how these policies contribute to higher housing costs and labor competition while addressing the deeper question of what it truly means to be an American and how the nation can preserve its sovereignty, rule of law, and national identity.

Make America Creative Again | The Next Frontier with Dr. Kevin Roberts Apr 07, 2026

Show notes

In this episode of The Next Frontier, I'm walking into two of America's most important cultural institutions—The Kennedy Center and the Library of Congress. One was built for performance, the other for preservation. I'm here asking a simple question: What does it take to keep a cultural inheritance alive?

If we want great art to remain part of American life, we can't treat institutions like scenery: useful only when they flatter our side. We have to treat them like what they are—an inheritance, and inheritance requires work, maintenance, humility, and willingness to keep the doors open.

Liberalism Can’t Save America, Only Destroy It | The Kevin Roberts Show with Larry O’Connor Apr 01, 2026

Show notes

The American liberal today no longer represents what liberalism once stood for. Rather than the classical understanding of liberalism—guided by Enlightenment philosophy and focused on limited government and individual freedom—the modern American liberal movement is intellectually totalitarian.

Dr. Roberts recently made this case at Yale University, arguing that liberalism has failed. In this episode, he and his co-host, Larry O’Connor, take a closer look at those remarks and examine the fundamental differences between conservatives and today’s American liberals.

The Military Index: A Guidebook for Policymakers | The Kevin Roberts Show with Larry O’Connor Mar 11, 2026

Show notes

Throughout Biden’s presidency, our military was neglected and underfunded. Since Trump came in office just over a year ago, improvements have already been made to our leadership, systems, investments, and morale, but we know that climbing out from under that former degradation and humiliation of our troops takes time.

The Heritage Foundation hopes to build our troops back up through policy-focused initiatives. The military index is a guidebook for policymakers on how to ensure our military is as efficient and prepared as possible. The Trump Administration has made strides in fortifying our troops, but the work isn’t finished.

Making Our Border Safe Again | The Next Frontier with Kevin Roberts Feb 11, 2026

Show notes

To ignore our borders is to surrender our future. To secure them is to rebuild our nation's strength.

America’s borders protect our sovereignty and are our safety. Under the previous administration, drugs, human trafficking, and a complete breakdown of the rule threatened not just our borders but our entire nation. Now, thanks to the Trump administration, safety and security has returned to our borders and to our nation. Kevin Roberts traveled to the Rio Grande to talk with Ron Vitiello about the change at the border over the last year.
