    KBMOD Podcast – Episode 54 (Featuring @AllShamNoWow) Aug 08, 2012
    Show notes

Woah, we’re already on episode 54, but Scott isn’t here to act surprised this week. That doesn’t matter though, because we found someone even better to replace him: our good friend, Mark a.k.a. AllShamNoWow! We start off with what we’ve been playing, and Brandon gives us a recap of his weekend at QuakeCon. We then move into some Q&A with Mark about his PC gaming background and his recent PC building experience, which segues nicely into a discussion about our new PC build guides for August. The news kicks off with Star Wars: The Old Republic going free-to-play sooner than expected and a new Star Wars game with some seriously impressive graphics. We also discuss AMD rehiring one of their top chip designers, World of Warcraft’s continual decline, the first GTX 660 Ti reviews coming out, and more! Our roundtable centers around a lengthy Team Liquid thread that depicts the history of Activision Blizzard since the 2008 merger and reminds us of some of Bobby Kotick’s juicier quotes. We finish up with your Twitter questions, where we discover that Mark’s healing laughter is very, very expensive.
