Seth Meyers, Psy.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in practice in Los Angeles, CA. He helps clients with relationship issues, anxiety and depression, addiction, and other mental disorders. In terms of training, Dr. Seth received his B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College and his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited doctoral program at Yeshiva University in New York City. He has an impressive range of clinical experience. His training included externships on the locked admissions unit of Essex County Hospital, a large state psychiatric hospital in northern New Jersey, and in an outpatient counseling center at St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center, one of Manhattan’s largest hospitals. In addition, Dr. Seth conducted his APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he completed rotations in the psychiatric inpatient unit, outpatient unit, and Developmental Center, which serves children with developmental disabilities. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the Weingart Center on Los Angeles’ Skid Row, providing assessments and therapy to homeless men and women struggling with addiction. Dr. Seth’s early career involved working as a Program Director at a large Los Angeles clinic that serves seriously and chronically mentally ill men and women. Currently, he works with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health in the administration of children’s mental health programs, with a focus on the unique mental health needs of foster youth. Dr. Seth has appeared on Good Morning America and numerous radio shows, and contributes regularly to Cosmopolitan Magazine and others. He is proud to have his own blog for Psychology Today and most proud of his own blog that he writes at www.DrSeth.blogspot.com. Dr. Seth lives in Los Angeles and, when not working, loves to spend time with his family, exercise, cook, and take care of his garden.

Elise Ballard is an actress, an independent filmmaker and film producer. She started her career in entertainment working as an actress in New York, Austin and Los Angeles. Her work as a producer began in Los Angeles as a partner in a production company that produced films distributed by Lionsgate and Monarch Entertainment. Her critically acclaimed directorial debut, Lord of the Wiens: A Dachumentary, a movie about the annual Wiener Dog Races in Buda, TX became a cult hit, receiving considerable national press coverage, playing film festival circuits and PBS. Since then she has created, directed and produced numerous projects including BackStage: Behind the Scenes segments for Time Warner cable’s Publik Music channel; FitPack, a series of short exercise regimens and viral ads by NYC celebrity trainer Joel Harper, and the YOU DVDs accompanying the YOU book series by world-renowned, bestselling authors, Drs. Mehmet Oz and Michael Roizen. She is currently in development on several projects, including the web, film and book project for Epiphany. Elise lives in Los Angeles and is actively seeking new epiphanies.

About Dr. Jessica Saepoff - "I am excited about the opportunity to bring choices in dentistry to as many people as possible. My vision for the future is that all people experience being fully informed and having freedom of choice in their health care." Dr. Saepoff graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1989. She has been practicing as a holistic dentist for over ten years. Dr. Saepoff created Natural Dental Health Associates in 1998 with the vision to make natural, holistic dentistry an alternative choice available to a wide range of people. Before dentistry, Dr. Saepoff began her collegiate experience by studying fine art at the University of Massachusetts. She explored many realms of art including printmaking, drawing, painting, engraving, sculpture, pottery, glassblowing and jewelry making. She was awarded with a Bachelor of Fine Arts for her efforts in 1982. She then attended Indiana University's Master of Fine Arts Program for one year before attending dental school in 1985. This experience and appreciation of fine art is something she enjoys bringing to her dental practice. Dr. Saepoff is active in the community and is involved with many professional dental associations. She is currently serving the public as a member of the State of Washington Dental Quality Assurance Commission. Dr. Saepoff cares about the environment. Her office's effort to use renewable resources and recycle whenever possible has earned her practice EnviroStar's highest rating. She is receiving a Green Globe Award from King County and EnviroStar leadership in activities that foster environmental stewardship in the community by protecting the environment, managing natural resources and encouraging community involvement. About Dr. Alan Gettis - There was something missing. Although he had degrees from four different universities and was schooled in psychodynamic, supportive, and cognitive behavioral therapy, there seemed to be a key ingredient that was lacking in his therapeutic approach to helping others heal and thrive. That was in 1969, when his search for the missing ingredient lead him to studies of world cultures in general and Zen in particular. As the years passed and he became steeped in stories and Zen wisdom, he knew he had uncovered an important method of helping people to get unstuck and feel happier. Yes, Dr. Alan Gettis believes wholeheartedly in the power of stories. Dr. Gettis spent two years as a Vietnam era army psychologist in the late 1960’s. In the 1970’s, he worked for seven years at a large mental health center as the Chief Psychologist. He is a clinical psychologist with graduate degrees from Central Michigan University, Utah State University, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has been in private practice since 1974.

About Shirley Enebrad in her own words...Aloha, I am the proud mother of Cory, the wonderful little boy for whom this book was written. He taught me how to live my life with joy, purpose and integrity. His short life and the lessons he shared were a gift to thousands of people worldwide thanks to his loving relationship with Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. He asked me to write this book to help Elisabeth teach people that death is not the end and that we should not be afraid. Cory loved the message in the song "The Rose." Especially the part about "those afraid of dying cannot learn to live..." His courage was astounding. His lessons were and are still profound. But, this book is not about dying...it is about living the life you have been gifted by God. I hope you enjoy the read. I currently live in Washington with my husband Steven, two rambunctious dogs Maile and Koa and our sweet grey kitty boy T.C. (stands for The Cat). We have two beautiful daughters Brie & Keili and my sweet grandson Cory Keawe and we have a hanai daughter named Malia whom we love very much. By profession I am an award-winning television/video producer/writer. I am also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. I conduct grief workshops and do grief work with individuals. And, now I am an author! As a volunteer I am the president of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Western Washington. Formerly I was the Washington State Team Leader for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation, which focuses on securing research funding for the Children's Oncology Group. (links available on Favorite Links page). I also volunteer with a community organization that promotes the area of Seattle where I reside. When asked, I also help my friends with their volunteer efforts...from drug affected newborns to promoting the arts to young people. My grandfather always said, "help if and when you can."
