      Dr. Kevin Eberle brings over 27 years of experience as a building administrator and former police officer to the field of education consulting, focusing on safety and culture change. As a retired school principal and COO of Buffalo Public Schools, he has also served as a teacher, counselor, and assistant principal. Dr. Eberle's multidisciplinary approach emphasizes trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and positive staff development with mindfulness techniques, demonstrating how these strategies can transform a school's culture and fabric. He is an associate with Zeal Education Group and serves on the boards of the Police Athletic League, Family Justice Center, OLV Humane Service, and Zero Now.

      Retired US Secret Service
      John Bullwinkel is an accomplished Secret Service Special Agent with over 20 years of experience in national and global security leadership, focusing on personnel and facilities in the nation's capital. Transitioning to a Threat Manager role in the public sector, John brings extensive expertise in high-level security assurance and threat management. His skills encompass security system assessments, risk mitigation, high-level security operations, executive-level protection, tactical team operations, logistics, event security planning, and team leadership. Known for building valuable relationships, John excels in collaborating with stakeholders, management, team members, vendors, and clients at all organizational levels.
    • Brian Katz
      Safer School Solutions
      Brian Katz most recently served as the Chief Safety and Security Officer for the Broward County Public School District, the nation's 6th largest school district. With over 20 years of experience in physical security, investigations, and executive protection, he has provided security consulting for Fortune 500 companies and other unique clients.
      At Google, Mr. Katz was the Director of Personnel Protective Services, where he built Google's Global Security Investigations and Intelligence teams from a single person to an industry-leading strategic global organization. He developed the Executive Protection Group, Intelligence Group, and the Global Security Operations Center, managing the company's Aviation program and responding to emergent threats worldwide.
      Following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy in 2018, Broward County School District created a Division of Safety, Security, and Emergency Preparedness as a Cabinet-level Chief position. Mr. Katz was selected to fill this role in February 2019 after a national search.
      In this position, Mr. Katz designed the new Division from the ground up, centralizing all safety and security functions, doubling the number of security staff, and creating layers of safety and security accountability. He also developed a comprehensive safety and security training framework, rolling out these initiatives district-wide.

Danielle’s experiences in varying markets include, but are not limited to, senior living, healthcare, education, manufacturing, hospitality, and government. She is responsible for leading the sales and engineering teams to design, deliver, and maintain solutions for integrated alarm management and automated mass notification systems. Most recently she has put her talents towards developing the Status Solutions Network, a school safety funding program designed to ensure that schools never go without proper situational awareness. SPECIAL GUESTS: Glenn Norling Special Agent (Ret)· Federal Bureau of Investigation Glenn Norling is a retired FBI Special Agent, and the Owner and Principal Consultant at TBR Consulting LLC, founded in 2020, providing world-class emergency planning, crisis management, and active shooter preparation consultation services and training. Glenn also serves as the Executive Director for P.R.O. Community Advisors for the Active Shooter Prevention Project. Glenn is a certified FBI crisis manager, an FBI instructor, and FBI adjunct faculty. Throughout his 20-year career, he worked as a field investigator, a field supervisory special agent, as well as a supervisory special agent at the FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group in Quantico, Virginia. Glenn has trained over 25,000 people in active shooter awareness and preparation since 2014. Glenn has a passion for preparedness. He has extensive experience in national-level training exercises, as well as local critical incident and special event planning, training, preparation, and response. He is a court-designated expert witness for school emergency drills and has written numerous articles for multiple law enforcement publications. He is a member of the National Tactical Officers Association, the National Association of School Resource Officers, the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and is a lifetime member of the FBI Agents Association. Glenn is also an avid outdoorsman, shooter, Gunsite graduate, and member of the American Warrior Society. Chief Valdimir Talley Safety and Security Administrator Decatur Public Schools Chief Talley is a thirty-six-year veteran police professional. He began his career as a correctional deputy with Champaign County, Illinois and later served with the Illinois Department of Conservation, and then with the Illinois State Police. Chief Talley concluded his law enforcement career as the Chief for Maywood, Illinois. In 2021, he began consulting on security matters until January 2023 when he assumed a position with the Decatur Public Schools District 61 as their Department Head for school security. Carli Ducko School Safety Specialist Montgomery County Department of Public Safety As a former Correctional Officer, she entered this Law Enforcement profession after working at different educational levels throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. she is also an "Autism Mom", who is passionate about promoting and discussing the specific needs of neurodivergent individuals
