    Jacksonville Shooter Legally Bought Guns Used in Racist Murders Aug 30, 2023

    John is still on vacation. Political strategist Max Burns fills in this week. He talks about the racially motivated shooting in Jacksonville Florida. Authorities say a white man wearing a mask and brandishing a weapon with a swastika fatally shot three Black people at a Dollar General store. Max takes a call from Mitch at Kent State on the shooting. Then, he interviews Dan Helmer who is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, a Democrat representing District 40 in Fairfax and Prince William Counties. He has been a champion for his constituents in Richmond by protecting access to affordable healthcare with safe and legal abortions, passing common-sense gun reform, and protecting our democracy from extremists. Next, Max takes a call from Chris in California on gun control. Then winding it up he chats with Sean in California on racism intertwined in the GOP narrative.
