The band is comprised of vocalist, Logan Tabor (Damona Waits, Mood Mechanics); guitarist, Tristan Matthew (Newlands, touring bassist for Chiodos); drummer Jeremy Bryan (Alesana) and Guitarist / Producer, Worth Weaver (producer and touring guitarist for He Is Legend, Thousand Foot Krutch). The multitude of styles and influences that go into these songs will change the way you look at rock music. Anthemic tracks dominate their body of work. “Teenage Lines” soaring sonics and vocal urgency contrasts in some ways with the warm, familiar nature of “I Want You Back” but both have a signature complexity that marks the band’s music.

This is a weird episode. Gonna get that out of the way. I went to the inaugural date of the Summer School Tour and it was awesome! It felt like I was seeing the very first date of a new version of Warped Tour or Taste of Chaos. Some ground level shit.

Knocked Loose frontman Bryan Garris joins me on the show amid technical difficulties. BUT WE GOT IT IN ANYWAY. Knocked Loose just wrapped up a massive tour in support of their new album “You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To.”
The album hit number one on Billboard rock charts and even charted higher than Taylor Swift on Spotify for a couple weeks. You might have even seen the vinyl sitting on a shelf at Target next to some scented candles. The band will be hitting the road with Slipknot in August, giving even more potential fans a chance to “arf arf.”

Serj Tankian is best known for being the frontman for System of a Down, an activist and now an author with his new memoir “Down with the System.” We talk about the early years of SOAD, how he felt about nu-metal, his past life as a software entrepreneur, unreleased SOAD songs and the one thing it would take for the band to put out a new album.
Also, people used to scream “wake up” at him n the street because of their song “Chop Suey” so I find out if they are still doing that, what bands he’d love to tour with, his thoughts on new artists like, how he ended up doing a song for the Godzilla movie. Speaking of movies, will his memoir be turned into a movie one day?
Serj also has a new solo EP called Foundations coming out soon, but the first single “A.F Day” is out now. Serj told me that the song was written in the early days of SOAD and the vocals on the track are actually the original vocals from 25 years ago. Mudvayne recently returned from an 11 year hiatus and frontman Chad Gray talks about what happened over a decade ago, what it feels like to be back and being embraced by the new generation of fans that fell in love with them through places like TikTok. Chad was also the singer for the metal supergroup HELLYEAH, which featured late Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul so we of course get into his thoughts about the remaining members of Pantera being out on the road touring without the Dimebag and Vinnie who have both sadly passed away. We talk about the importance of playing live, possible new mudvayne music and picks his bet for the Mike Tyson Logan vs. Paul fight.

This show's a bit different. I went to see The Offspring, Simple Plan and Sum 41 tour and got to talk to Noodles from The Offspring live.
