Bryan Broaddus joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we'll go over some of his favorite fits for the Dallas Cowboys to pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Plus Dane Brugler's updated top 100 is out, we've got mock drafts galore and we love talking draft. Will Ashton Jeanty make it to 12? And if so is that an easy choice? What about Tyler Warren? Is that a luxury pick? Is there a defensive lineman not named Mason Graham that's worthy of being picked there? All the scenarios, all the fun.
Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons name has popped up with trade speculation from Ian Rapoport. We'll chat with Bryan Broaddus about if that's an absolutely terrible idea to entertain for the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones and the team have a lot of work to do if they want to compete with Philadelphia Eagles, would a king's ransom for Parsons be a step in the right or wrong direction? Plus the lessons to be learned from the teams that just played in the Super Bowl and NFL Draft talk for you.
Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday to discuss the Cowboys having officially named Brian Schottenheimer the head coach. We will also go over when/if Matt Eberflus will officially become the defensive coordinator and what needs to change if you want to track down Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles at winning football games. We also have plenty of draft content. You wanna beat the Eagles? Dak Prescott needs offensive line help. CeeDee Lamb needs a running buddy. Micah Parsons needs a dude on that line with him. The linebacker group is empty. DaRon Bland needs help in the secondary. We've got a lot of work to do.
The Cowboys have made it official. Brian Schottenheimer is going to be their new head coach. People have asked for my video of crashing out over the news but I think that already happened over the last month or two. We'll calmly discuss what Jerry Jones and company are up to, how it affects Dak Prescott and the offense and chat about Matt Eberflus becoming his defensive coordinator.
Bryan Broaddus joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we have the latest on the possibility of Brian Schottenheimer as the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott voiced support for the idea but he also (publically) loves everyone so is there anything to make of that? We'll also talk some NFL Draft including what does the ideal running mate look like for CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott?
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we will talk the Dallas Cowboys NFC Championship Game drought, head coaching search and the possibility of Ashton Jeanty coming to Dallas to Saquon Barkley this thing. The Dallas Cowboys haven't played in the NFC title game since 1995. That is now the longest drought in the conference by FIFTENN YEARS. It will be an All-NFC East title game and we're left to wonder where are the Cowboys in this division heading forward? Who is going to be the next head coach for Dallas? Robert Saleh and Kellen Moore have interviewed for the job, Leslie Frazier is about to and other candidates will as well. What is the biggest reason for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys failures? Do these playoffs tell us to go ahead and fire a first round pick at a running back and see if Ashton Jeanty can change the Cowboys fortunes? We're loaded today, come join the Cowboys party.
Bryan Broaddus joins me to talk about Mike McCarthy being out and the search for the next Cowboys coach being on. Deion Sanders name popped up last night from credible people and we can give you what you need about that. Other names that we think will consider include Kellen Moore certainly, perhaps Jon Gruden and/or Pete Carroll and more. Plus this means Mike Zimmer and the assistants are on the outs also. What are we going to do about that? And you know we'll talk some NFL Draft because it's our favorite thing. Settle in for another edition of Trust the Tape.
Mike McCarthy told Jerry Jones no thank you. With his contract expiring tonight the Super Bowl winning coach will be moving on in hope of landing a job in Chicago, New Orleans or elsewhere. Regardless of the exact way this went down, there is no way that Jerry Jones doesn't come out looking like an incredibly inept operator of a football team. Now the Cowboys will have a coaching search that will include whoever wants to work on the cheap and put up with the Dallas Cowboys circus. Get ready for Jon Gruden and Kellen Moore talk. Who do you want as the next coach of the Cowboys?
Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me for another episode of Trust the Tape. We have fully entered draft season and we'll talk about the Cowboys biggest needs and wants, which position groups have the talent to line up for their needs and some of our pet cats. Bring your questions and lets Make The Cowboys Great Again. Do we love or hate a RB in the first round? Every mock draft has Ashton Jeanty to Dallas. Which receiver pairs best with CeeDee Lamb? Tet McMillen, Luther Burden, Emeka Egbuka or other? Who can help fix this defensive line with or without Osa Odighizuwa's return? It's a really defensive tackle class. All the draft things. Come be a part of it.
Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and today I refuse to rant about Jerry Jones but we've gotta talk about what he had to say about Mike McCarthy's future. When will we have the decision on McCarthy, Mike Zimmer and the rest of the coaching staff? Plus we are officially in to draft season now. With the loss to the Washington Commanders they hay is in the barn and we know where the Cowboys are picking and how many things they need. Let's do this. Time to figure out if we're adding Ashton Jeanty, Luther Burden, Emeka Egbuka, Kelvin Banks, Malaki Starks etc.
