Raised in Anderson with a mother in the ministry, perhaps a higher power intervened to send Mr. Basketball & McDonald’s All-American Ray Tolbert to Bloomington. Not only was Ray one of the most consistent starters, scorers and rebounders in IU history, he was also an all-timer when it came to monster dunks. Playing alongside the likes of Woody, Zeke, Landon, and Wittman, this Hoosier Hall of Famer won a NIT title, a Pan-American gold medal, two Big Ten crowns, and the 1981 National Championship. And to that we say hallelujah!! See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
