WHEW I hope you all are ready for the Perfectionist Problems episode sis! We have all set crazy high standards and then felt like a failure when they're not met! In this episode you will learn to give yourself grace and not let your unrealistic goals make you feel less than!

Life can get pretty overwhelming when the pressure to be flawless never lets up. But understand sis, Your value isn't tied to some checklist of achievements. It's woven right into who God created you to be!

Here's the lowdown on what you gotta remember:

See Your Worth Through God's Eyes: Despite your mistakes, traumas, past, and abuses you are still worthy! A stepped-on 100$ bill is still a 100$ bill! You must accept and believe the fact God is in love with you and always will be no matter how you perform or what you accomplish!

Strong in Being Real: We're taught to slap on a smile and hide our flaws, but guess where true strength lies? Yup, in owning those so-called weaknesses. They're not weak at all, by the way. It's in those very spots that God's strength shines the brightest.

Dumping Perfection: Embracing God's incredible love means ditching the whole act of being perfect. Newsflash: you're allowed to be gloriously imperfect. His love and grace? They're unshakable and we need to learn to show it to ourselves as well.

Oh, and before I forget, here's the verse we unpack this episode: "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Hey girl, this week we're gonna talk about fear. I know it's a topic that gets discussed a lot, but let's get real about how it affects us and holds us back from where God is trying to take us.

If you're anything like me, fear is probably one of the biggest obstacles in your life. And according to Second Timothy 1:7, we know that fear is not from God. God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline, not fear.

So where does fear come from? You guessed it, the enemy! Fear is just the enemy's way of trying to stop us from reaching our potential and getting closer to God. But the good news is that we have power over the enemy, and we don't have to let fear control us.

When we trust in God and His plan for us, we don't have to fear anything. We can be confident that God will guide us and give us the strength we need to overcome any obstacle.

So if you're feeling afraid or insecure about something, remember that your power and confidence come from God. It's not up to you to control everything in your life. God has already made something of you, and it's up to you to follow Him and seek Him. When fear tries to paralyze you, remind yourself that it's not from God, and you have the power to cast it down. So stand firm in your faith, Sis, and know that you can conquer fear with God by your side.

Tis the season to recognize you can be your own worst enemy by choosing to believe lies that trauma has taught you. It's time to get real with ourselves sis! We are holding ourselves back from the "more" God has for us. It is in our perfectionism, people-pleasing, and hyper-criticality towards ourselves that we disqualify ourselves from what He already laid aside for us! God is big on changing our thinking towards Him, others, and ourselves in order to believe, receive, and live in the fullness of what He has for us. Those negative things you tell yourself: I can't, I am not, I don't have, I will never must be eliminated from your vocabulary because it is not your strength to get through this life is not dependent on you, It's God's! And Thank God we serve a good God with Good plans for our lives, all we have to do is come in agreement with it and have the faith to receive it.

Get through this week by memorizing Isaiah 66:2 and claiming it!

03. Expectations in Relationships Jan 03, 2023

God has big plans for you. This even pertains to the connections, friendships, and marriage He has in store for you. We have to be careful not to let anticipation of what we desire distract us or rush us. Instead, we need to value the process. When you fully partner with God and finally surrender to his will and his timing in your life, I know it's not easy, but when you finally do, when that appointed time comes, you will experience the acceleration that only God can bring forth in your life.

We are recapping what we learned last week, that as we mature in Christ so must our prayers and perspective. As God highlights an area of our lives that proves to be a stronghold we must confront it, but we are not alone. God gives us strategies to break generational cycles, toxic habits, and attacks from the enemy off of our lives. David displays in 2 Samuel 5: 17-25 what it means to not only be in a position physically but also spiritually in order to be sensitive to what God's instructions are for our current season. His ways are higher than ours, and He goes before us while also delivering a careful strategy to help us escape difficult situations.
