Today, we’re continuing our study “Is that Really in the Bible” from MomStrong International! Have you ever thought of yourself as the center of God’s story? In a post-modern Church, that is often the case. We often have a tendency to insert ourselves into the center of biblical stories–we become the hero instead of seeing Jesus as the true hero or we reduce narratives down to a set of moral principles to apply so we can have a better life. This kind of man-centered reading and preaching can take glory away from God and distort the true nature of the Bible. Bottom line? The Bible is about God. It’s HIStory – and it points us to Jesus.

Why Do We Homeschool? Aug 06, 2018

People often ask me why my husband and I decided to homeschool our seven children. Truthfully, we never planned on homeschooling—but we have come to believe that it is the best educational option out there today for many reasons: socialization, educational opportunities, freedom… just for starters. If you’re a parent who is sitting on the fence about homeschooling or if you’re a seasoned homeschooler who has lost your vision for education, tune in today!
