The Dark Lore of the Appalachian Mountains, Part Two | Grave Talks CLASSIC Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO

The Appalachian Mountains are older than memory, older than written history—and many believe they guard secrets never meant to leave the forest.

In this episode of The Grave Talks, we journey deep into Appalachia’s shadowed past with John and Elijah Henderson, brothers who grew up immersed in the region’s traditions, superstitions, and whispered warnings. From an early age, they learned that some stories aren’t meant to scare outsiders—they’re meant to protect those who listen.

As John and Elijah share their firsthand experiences, a chilling question emerges: what if some of the creatures reported in the woods aren’t just cryptids… but something far darker? Could demonic entities take on physical forms, using the wilderness as cover?

Through stories of unexplainable encounters, unseen presences, and things glimpsed only for a moment between the trees, this episode explores why Appalachia remains one of the most mysterious—and feared—regions in America.

What Was Making Them Hate Each Other? | After Midnight Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

They had been together for years before they finally moved in together, and the house seemed perfect. It was bright, welcoming, and filled with the kind of space they had both wanted.

    Then something began to change.

The rooms felt darker. They were constantly exhausted. Small disagreements became bitter arguments, and both started hearing cruel remarks the other insisted had never been said.

Eventually, they got away for a week. Almost immediately, they felt like themselves again. But the moment they came home, everything returned.

By then, they were beginning to wonder whether the problem wasn’t their relationship at all. Maybe it was the house.

Dark History and Ghostly Guests at the Statler City Hotel | Grave Talks CLASSIC Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Once the height of elegance and power, Buffalo’s Statler City Hotel was built to host the living—but it seems the dead refused to check out.

Grand ballrooms now sit in silence. Chandeliers sway in still air. Security guards report footsteps echoing down empty hallways, voices drifting through rooms that haven’t seen guests in decades. Some claim to see figures dressed in 1920s finery, appearing just long enough to vanish again.

In this chilling episode of The Grave Talks, we step inside one of the most haunted landmarks in New York to explore the thin veil between history and the supernatural. Guest Conor Hawkins takes us beyond the locked doors, revealing untold stories of the Statler’s past—its triumphs, its tragedies, and the mysterious energy that refuses to fade.

Why do certain places hold on to their guests long after death? What makes the Statler’s walls hum with life when no one is there?

History never truly leaves. And inside the Statler City Hotel… neither do they.

The Spirits Left Behind at Aradale Asylum, Part Two | Advance CLASSIC Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWO

For more than a century, lunatic asylums stood as monuments to control—vast brick complexes built to remove the unwanted from society. Across much of the world, these institutions housed not only those suffering from mental illness, but anyone deemed inconvenient, misunderstood, or different.

Australia’s Aradale Asylum was no exception.

In this episode of The Grave Talks, paranormal investigator William Tabone guides us through the very real—and deeply haunted—history of Aradale. Within its towering walls, lives were confined for reasons that often had little to do with illness and everything to do with fear, language barriers, and social rejection.

Today, those walls still stand. And many believe the people who were locked inside never truly left.

As we explore the echoes of isolation, loss, and forgotten humanity, we confront a chilling question: when society abandons people behind closed doors, what remains after the doors finally open?

Was His Uncle Still in the House? | Real Ghost Stories Sep 17, 2026
    Show notes

When he and his future wife moved into his late grandfather’s house, they knew the family history attached to it. Decades earlier, his uncle had died tragically in one of the bedrooms, and from the beginning, that room seemed to affect their normally calm dog in a way they couldn’t explain.

At first, they tried not to make too much of it. But over time, the house began to feel less like an empty family home and more like a place where someone—or something—might still be holding on.

The question became harder to ignore after they got married.

Was the activity simply tied to the house’s past...or was a member of the family still there, reacting to the life continuing without him?

The Woman Three Generations Saw | After Midnight Sep 16, 2026
    Show notes

As a child, she and her sister both saw a woman standing beside one of the beds in their upstairs bedroom. Years passed, and the story faded into something neither of them talked about very often.

Then her son began sleeping in that same room. He saw a woman there too.

Decades later, her granddaughter moved into the bedroom and described the same nighttime visitor—along with one detail that should have been impossible.

The woman held out one hand as though it were resting on something.

Something that had not been in that room for more than half a century.

Gettysburg’s Civilian Ghost: The Haunting of Jennie Wade’s Birthplace, Part One | Grave Talks CLASSIC Sep 16, 2026
    Show notes

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Gettysburg is known for its battlefields and fallen soldiers—but some of its most unsettling stories belong to those who never fought at all.

Jennie Wade was the only confirmed civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg. Though she was killed blocks away while baking bread for Union soldiers, many believe her presence never truly left the place where her life began.

Over the years, visitors and caretakers have reported shadow figures moving through empty rooms, unexplained voices, sudden cold spots, and objects shifting without explanation. Some describe an oppressive feeling in certain upstairs rooms—while others claim encounters that feel deeply personal, as if the house itself is reacting to them. Whether these experiences are residual echoes or something far more aware remains an open question.

Today, a conversation with historian and huntress, Tiffany Meredith.
