My guest, Ally , a volunteer in Brasov from Ireland shares her struggles
from the loss of her father at 16, to struggles with anxiety and depression
and how vital a positive mindset was through each stage in life.
Ally has been to Romania 16 times to serve, give and go beyond herself.
Currently, she is serving with Firm Foundations of Romania. She shares
how giving back and loving others has altered her path in life.

Our lives can be altered and our view of life can be changed when we make the decision to serve others. Sarah Vienna, co-founder of Firm Foundations, and Andreea, a local Romanian who went through the program and is now working with the organization full-time as a licensed social worker share the power of giving.
Firm Foundations is a non-profit organization based in Brasov, Romania. They serve children of Romania through providing volunteers to hold babies in the local hospital who are either orphans or in long-term care, they raise funds for providing diapers and formula for children as well as their after school program that allows for support and hope for those who might otherwise fall through the system’s cracks.
