Lyrics to the last song, "The River"
Verse 1:
There's a river that runs, from the heart of the Father
There's a river that runs from His heart
There's a river that runs, from the heart of the Father
There's a river that runs from His heart
Chorus:
So jump in
Jump in
Verse 2:
There's a freedom that's wild, in the heart of the Father
There's a freedom that's wild in His heart, yeah
There's a freedom that's wild, in the heart of the Father
There's a freedom so wild in His heart
Chorus:
So jump in, yeah
Jump in (Oh)
Jump in, yeah
Jump in
Bridge:
Heaven's healing flows, see it rising up
On and on it goes, it cannot be stopped
If you're thirsty, drink, 'cause it won't run dry
So, come on, dive in, there's abundant life
Heaven's justice roars, like a mighty flood
And it shakes us all, in its raging love
Every fear backs down, as Your praise breaks out
Now's your time to rise, with a gospel shout
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
There's a river
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
Hallelujah (Heaven's hope of glory)
Hallelujah (Heaven's wave of glory)
There's a river (I can hear it, I can see it, I believe it)
Chorus:
So jump in, oh
Jump in (Jump in)
Oh, [that's where is?] freedom
Jump in (Hallelujah)
Hallelujah (I'm not waiting, I'm not waitingHallelujah (I'm running, I'm running)
Hallelujah (I'm running, into the river)
Hallelujah
Hallelujah (Hallelujah)
There's a river
Outro:
Shame is washed away
Swept up by Your grace
In the river, we are free
Thank You, Lord for saving me
Fr. Jim Marchionda, OP brings out the radical nature of the story of the magi coming from the East and finding the baby Jesus, foreigners in a foreign land, foreshadowing the gentiles being accepted into the faith as equals to the Jews, so that we can all become lights to the nations, welcoming everyone into the grace of God.
