    LIFE by DAX
This life gets real hard and sometimes you may feel you're outta place
You may think there's time then blink and find it's gone and you can't waste
You gotta take a hold, embrace it, close your eyes, and walk by faith
And go today, don't wait, yeah, go today, don't wait, don't wait, go today
    [Verse 1]
Life is crazy, it can switch up in a second
School of hard knocks taught me how to deal with my aggression
I was never one to cry, my face was blank with no expression
Had to keep a strong face, go to war with my depression
I was hurting inside, battling with my faith
But, God, he never gave me nothing I can't overtakе
He put me in position to get strongеr through the pain
To appreciate the sun after the rain
We gotta remind that it gets better with time
And we got one life to live and it's guaranteed that we die
So when we open our eyes and take a look in the sky
Just be thankful and conquer the day, yeah
    [Chorus]
This life gets real hard and sometimes you may feel you're outta place
You may think there's time then blink and find it's gone and you can't waste
You gotta take a hold, embrace it, close your eyes, and walk by faith
And go today, don't wait, yeah, go today, don't wait, don't wait, go today

    [Verse 2]
Go today, don't wait for tomorrow
It isn't promised, all the time you got's borrowed
Don't live your life for other people, don't bottle
Your emotions 'til they crack and fill a couple just sorrows
Take your mind and refocus, go get a paper
Write your goals out, throw your middle fingers to all your haters
Add some hard working on top of it, mix in consistent prayers
Say you're never gonna quit, sayonara, and see you later
'Cause I gotta remind that we not meant to survive
We meant to live in the moment and make the best of our lives
So when we open our eyes and take a look in the sky
Just be thankful and conquer the day, yeah
    [Chorus]
This life gets real hard and sometimes you may feel you're outta place
You may think there's time then blink and find it's gone and you can't waste
You gotta take a hold, embrace it, close your eyes, and walk by faith

    BEAUTIFUL THINGS by Benson Boone
For a while there, it was rough
But lately, I've been doin' better
Than the last four cold Decembers
    I recall

And I see my family every month
I found a girl my parents love
She'll come and stay the night
And I think I might have it all

And I thank God every day
For the girl He sent my way
But I know the things He gives me
    He can take away

And I hold you every night
And that's a feeling I wanna get used to
But there's no man as terrified
As the man who stands to lose you

    Oh, I hope I don't lose you
    Mm

    Please stay
I want you, I need you, oh God
    Don't take
These beautiful things that I've got

    Please stay
I want you, I need you, oh God
    Don't take
These beautiful things that I've got

    Oh-oh-oh-oh
    Ooh
    Please don't take

I found my mind, I'm feelin' sane
It's been a while, but I'm finding my faith
If everything's good and it's great
Why do I sit and wait 'til it's gone?

Oh, I'll tell ya, I know I've got enough
I've got peace and I've got love
But I'm up at night thinkin'
I just might lose it all

    Please stay
I want you, I need you, oh God
    Don't take
These beautiful things that I've got

    Oh-oh-oh-oh
    Ooh
    Please stay
I want you, I need you, oh God
    I need
These beautiful things that I've got

    PROVERBS 4: 27
Its so easy to measure our worth and dignity by measuring ourselves against another. Another person, another To-Do list, another accomplishment (or lack thereof). But as Lauren reminds us today from Proverbs: we are loved by God no matter our successes, no matter our failures. It is a love that has no equivalent here on this earth.

    BELOVEDNESS by Sarah Kroger
You've owned your fear and all your self-loathing
You've owned the voices inside of your head
You've owned the shame and reproach of your failure
It's time to own your belovedness

You've owned your past and how it's defined you
You've owned everything everybody else says
It's time to hear what your Father has spoken
It's time to own your belovedness

He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you
I find you beautiful in every way
My love for you is fierce and unending
I'll come to find you, whatever it takes
    My beloved"

You've owned the mess you see in the mirror
You've owned the lies that you're just not enough
You've been so blinded by all you're comparing
It's time to own your belovedness

He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you
I find you beautiful in every way
My love for you is fierce and unending
I'll come to find you, whatever it takes
    My beloved"

You are completely loved and fully known
Beloved, believe He died to make your heart His home

And He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you
I find you beautiful in every way
My love for you is fierce and unending
I'll come to find you, whatever it takes"

He says, "You're mine, I smiled when I made you
I find you beautiful in every way
My love for you is fierce and unending
I'll come to find you, whatever it takes
    My beloved"

It's time to own your belovedness

    JOHN 6: 1-15
    Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand
6 Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival was near.
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
14 After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” 15 Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.
