The MLB season is in jeopardy after multiple players on the Miami Marlins tested positive for COVID-19. This could be a concern for the NFL’s season, but as Mike points out, the two sports operate in completely different ways. NFL Preseason & Coronavirus Testing, Derrick Henry, Antonio Brown Retires (Again) Jul 22, 2020

The NFL has officially offered to eliminate its preseason entirely and institute the NFLPA’s suggested coronavirus testing program for players. This is a big step towards starting training camp next week, but the NFL still has a number of challenges to work through. Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans have agreed to a $50 million contract, which solidifies a one-dimensional offense for the team next season. Antonio Brown retires (again), Chris Jones thinks the Kansas City Chiefs can win five Super Bowls, and Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright wants to become a General Manager.
